Family-friendly vacation rentals in Halki

A fabulous few days spent in the villa with our family. Our host was so attentive and kind. The villa was spotless and homely. Loved the peaceful area. We were out of season but still found a few local restaurants we could walk to and enjoy. A highlight was the short walk to the sea with a beautiful tree lined promenade. We are definitely going to visit again as it suited it so well and we felt very relaxed during our stay.

Alles war so wie beschrieben. Die Kinder liebten den Pool und gingen selbstständig einkaufen und ins Dorf. Grosszügiges Haus und ganz tolle Lage. Die Abendstimmungen sind ein Traum, wir wollten gar nicht mehr Nach Hause gehen. Wenn man etwas kritisieren will, dann vielleicht den arg kleinen Geschirrspüler, welcher kaum das ganze Geschirr für acht Personen aufnehmen kann. Auch die Küche ist nicht gerade über dimensioniert, aber mit den vier Herdplatten kann man gut kochen. Pefkos im Herbst ist ein ruhiges, schönesTouristendorf. Obwohl das Haus an einer manchmal recht stark befahrenen Strasse liegt, hat uns die Strasse gar nicht gestört. Das Haus liegt ja zurückgesetzt und erhöht. Wir können uns gut vorstellen, wieder einmal zu kommen!

Despina war sehr zuvorkommend und stets erreichbar. Die Villa überzeugte mit seinen schönen Lichtern in der Abendstimmung, dem Pool und dem Whirlpool. Einige Klimaanlagen tropften ein wenig, was Despina aber reparieren lässt. Die Sauberkeit war allgemein nicht auf höchstem Standart aber der Klimazone entsprechend. Wir können die Villa nur weiterempfehlen und wir würden wiederkommen. Hatten eine wundervolle Zeit!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt bei Konstantinos und seiner Familie. Sie waren die besten Gastgeber. In Psinthos und Afandou kann man super essen gehen und die Leute waren super nett. Tolle Menschen!

Manos was een vriendelijk man, met een mooi verblijf. Wij hebben ons goed kunnen vermaken. Alles was aanwezig wat er beschreven stond. Tot slot een heel goed verblijf en host.

Wow! The Villa Estelle was stunning. There are many places that say they are Luxury these days but this truly is. It is one of the nicest properties we have ever stayed in. Expensive but we felt it was worth the money. A couple of things to note. The villa is in the pedestrian old town of Lindos, it’s less than 5 mins walk from a car park but you need to be able to walk your bags to and from. The whole villa has excellent air conditioning which was wonderful when it was soooo hot outside. It may not be possible to enjoy the outside decks in mid summer. The showers are hand held but once you get used to them, they are fine. It is 5mins to St Paul’s Bay which is the most stunning place in the world to swim. We are very grateful that Villa Estelle was available for our stay. It made Lindos a beautiful and memorable holiday. Michalis was lovely, as were all the locals. We’d recommend a sunset cruise on the Lindian Pearl yacht - a real highlight. The food is Lindos is amazing

Rundum einfach toll! Ein vollausgestattetes Haus, uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Perfekte Lage, kein Massentourismus, super Lage und ein wunderbarer Gastgeber, der alle unsere Fragen mit Rat und Tat beantwortet hat.

The accommodation greets you as you arrive by ferry Alkminis father takes you to the accommodation which in the heat of the day is great and also informative We took in some beautiful restaurants especially The secret garden … very special … but do book … great snorkelling and a challenging up hill run if you like some exercise Great bar at the bottom of the accommodation All together beautiful and as busy or calm as you wish you time to be

Traumhaft privat und ruhig! Wer Ruhe und Privatsphäre sucht, ist in dem Haus von Gudrun perfekt aufgehoben. Es gibt absolut nichts zu bemängeln. Die Unterkunft ist schön und gemütlich eingerichtet. Es fehlt an nichts, egal ob es eine kleine Grundausstattung an Lebensmitteln ist oder Öl, Wasser, Obst, ja sogar Wein war vorhanden. Die ersten ruhigen Stunden sind also gesichert. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Das Highlight war für uns der total private Pool. Das Wasser war herrlich, er war sauber und die Poolliegen bequem. Wir konnten uns richtig gut entspannen. Tipp: Mietwagen ist bei dieser Unterkunft Pflicht. Am besten ist es aber, wenn dieser auch mind. ein SUV ist. Die Zufahrt ist etwas abenteuerlich aber auch um die wahnsinnig schönen einsamen Strände erreichen zu können, empfiehlt sich ein SUV und diese sind nicht einmal so weit entfernt von der Unterkunft. Wir waren sehr glücklich über unsere Wahl der Unterkunft. Danke Gudrun!

This was one of the best airbnb's I ever stayed at. The family was overly kind, gave us a ride to the place, had wine waiting for us. The place was so clean, well stocked, and felt like home. Was nice to get away from noisy Rhodes. Centrally located, so if you rent a bike or car you can get anywhere on the island very easily. Highly highly recommend this place.

Très charmante maison située dans une zone très préservée de l'île de Rhodes. Logement charmant et paisible. Litterie un peu moins bien, mais le charme de la maison opère :) A recommander ++

To get picked up from the port by an open-hearted being like Renata, let you feel welcomed right away and to get a brief 'how to Nisyros' from your host, makes everything easier than communication with a key box. To me Nisyros was a very calming, relaxing, recharging place to explore and the 14 days were perfect. If it is an option for you, i highly recommend to rather rent an E-Bike than something faster, if time allows it, and that's already the thing...take your time for Nisyros if possible. I'm still fantasizing everyday about also hiking more, if there is a next time. I just fell in love with the place. And Renata aka CIA of Greece. She is always helpful if something comes up and somehow is 'always around' but you have all the alone time and private space you need. Ein tolles kleines Häuschen, ruhig gelegen mit wunderbaren Meerblick. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Die Klimaanlagen funktionieren problemlos, alles war sauber. Es gibt sehr viele Sitzmöglichkeiten und auch Sonnenliegen, ideal also auch für einen entspannten Tag im Haus. Die Eukalyptus Allee in Kolymbia ist nur ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuss entfernt. Das Haus allgemein ist toll und entspricht komplett der Beschreibung, auch der Gastgeber war sehr schnell erreichbar und hat bei allen Fragen geholfen. Würde ich definitiv empfehlen und auch wiederkommen!:)

Georgi is a great host! Polite, kind, courteous, hospitable. He always wants to help. His home is much nicer, comfortable, well furnished with everything you need, than it is described. Very clean. When we arrived there were little welcome surprises waiting for us. Wine, water, croissant, coffee, tea. If you want to visit the whole east coast of Rhodes, rent Georgi's house, it is equidistant from Rhodes town and Lindos town.

We had a lovely stay in Oct 2024 with our two adult sons 17 + 23. The pool was a little cold as it was late in the season, but we were able to swim in the sea every day. We had great weather. The villa is secluded and private, very clean and within an easy walk of numerous restaurants and bars, also the beach. We were spoilt for choice. The hosts we lovely and helpful We got a tax from the nearby taxi rank into Rhodes old town for 18Euro which is well worth a visit. We hope to return next year!

En perfekt villa for deg som vil til Rhodos. Villaen ligger nærme mange fine restauranter og med kjøreavstand til Rhodos by. Meg og mine venner har stor kost oss i villaen, og Eleni og hennes sønn har vært svært fleksible og snille med oss. De svarer fort og kommer med engang man lurer på noe. Vi er veldige fornøyde, og anbefaler dette stedet på det varmeste.

The house is nice with a private garden and great pool that had some equipment with it. The house was very clean and prepared, also included some snacks and surprised me with cooled wine :-) Thank you for that :-) It was a lovely stay with lot of cats which my daughter adored. We are looking forward to come again.

Gianni was an absolutely magnificent host and the villa was exactly as described! He provided our group of 8 with local recommendations for restaurants, car hire, things to do, and was always available and responded straight away to any questions we had. We are looking forward to booking again next year!

Great place in a great location! Easy to access, very quick ride from the airport. Loved the pool and unique architecture. Perfect for our quick 4 day getaway.

Nous aurions simplement aimé que notre hôte passe nous voir dans le courant de la semaine pour nous demander si tout se passait bien pour nous et si nous manquions de rien. I would give this 6 stars if I could. We had the most amazing time as a group of six girls, couldn’t recommend this place and this host more! The rooms were very generous in size with a gorgeous pool and plenty of eating and sunbathing spaces. There were drinks and nibbles waiting for us when we arrived and the place was spotless! The host was incredible and made our stay all the more seamless. She booked our transfers to and from the airport, provided plenty of local recommendations and sorted a taxi for us to Rhodes old town. And she even allowed late check out on request due to our flight being later in the day. Perfect for a group of six looking for a fun and relaxing villa that is less than a 5 minute walk to the beach! Great location with a shop and restaurants close by.
