A Perfect Getaway at a Beautiful Water View Cottage! Our group of girlfriends recently had the pleasure of staying at a lovely Airbnb cottage in Norland, and I can't recommend it enough! The location was great, with great views of the water that made every moment feel special. The cottage itself was very nice, providing a cozy and inviting atmosphere. It was well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the hosts were attentive. We were disappointed that we couldn't fully enjoy the wonderful deck due to the weather. However, the hot tub was a fantastic highlight of our stay, and we made the most of it! Overall, our stay was great, and look forward to returning. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with beautiful scenery, this is the place to be!

This cabin offers a cozy retreat. The space is snug and warm—perfect for curling up with a book or simply watching the rain fall through large windows. All of the amenities were as described and we look forward to returning.

Hidden gem!! A touch of paradise! Beautiful rustic cabins! Incredible lake views with the most clear water! The hosts are so welcoming and gracious! We had an amazing week here relaxing and enjoying! We will definitely be back!

This was the best way to experience the beauty of Ontario. The rusty cabin is clean and warm, with many old records and fascinating books when it gets dark, and well maintained kayaks for daytime. Bill is an amazing guy, holding some of the history and knowledge of the place in his heart and he is so willing to share it with the others. Book this place to get a sweet taste of Algonquin and Little Hawk lake.

The cabin was a wonderful place for a couple to get away, it is very well appointed for two people. The gazebo was wonderful to have, the dock was great and has seating, lots of wood for the fires, the living room was a very nice space in the evenings. You have neighbours but the lot is very private. Overall very nice place to relax and enjoy the highland areas.

The trails are just a short walk from the cabin, which is very convenient. It is very quiet and peaceful. The hammock was SO SO comfortable. There are a bunch of things to do with the Haliburton company as well (The wolf centre and The treetop canopy tour). There’s also a pretty small grocery store a 20 min drive away if you desperately need anything. There is also a Restaurant right outside the gate that has amazing brisket! Would definitely recommend staying here, it was lovely!

Absolutely beautiful, just as we remembered from last year. All amenities still in like new condition. Lots to do. Property landscaped and kept pristine. Cottage cozy and private. Fishing and swimming, kayaking. The perfect getaway.

Had a fabulous time and are looking to book again. This property is a little piece of heaven. Can’t say enough about the hosts and all the little touches. There wasn’t anything that they didn’t think about! Highly recommend staying here!

Although it was rainy most of the weekend, listening to the rain fall on the roof without any of the city noises was very peaceful I understand what everyone is saying about the ladder lol it is a little bit freaky - maybe 🤷‍♀️would be better placed straight down Overall we had a great weekend - the cabin was very clean, cozy and the woodstove will heat it in no time if it is chilly out

I had a fantastic stay here. The place is in a great spot—really quiet and peaceful. It’s perfect for anyone wanting to get away. There are lakes and trails nearby, which we loved exploring. The host was super helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. I definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking to relax and enjoy nature. We will be looking to book future visits!

Very cute and cozy little glamping experience. A little confusing to get in to the park at first but overall a beautiful place - the cabin has absolutely everything you could possibly need, and was very cozy. We took our 1 year old dog away with us and the hosts were gracious about it. Willow had so much fun, and it was the perfect spot with beautiful views all around no matter where you went. We will definitely be back!

very beautiful place. a but small inside for 8 people max, but it was doable in terms of the one bathroom (it's smaller than we assumed). the best part about it was the location and the nature, access to the lake with kayak, canoes, and paddleboard. The balcony is beautiful, it was really lovely to wake up early in the morning. I would definitely come back here again!

My husband and I wanted a quick getaway , somewhere rustic,quiet and close to water. We found Janet’s cabin just what we were looking for. Everything from the check in to the amenities met our expectations. Would definitely recommend Alexanne cottage rentals for your getaway adventure. We feel totally relaxed and rested ! My husband and I were looking for a peaceful escape from the city, and this place was exactly what we needed. Even with the constant rain, we had such a relaxing and memorable stay. Helen and her husband were incredibly welcoming, responsive, and genuinely funny—it really made the experience even better. The property is absolutely beautiful, with scenic trails and the calming sound of birds everywhere (such a refreshing change from the usual city noise). The cabin was cozy and thoughtfully set up, and the outdoor bathroom and shower were no problem at all—especially for us, since we’re comfortable with camping. One of the highlights was the animals—the horses and dogs were so friendly and affectionate. It was such a treat for us as animal lovers, and really added to the charm of the stay. We’d definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage is immaculately clean, is well equipped with anything you need for cooking, playing games, bbq-ing or paddling on the lake. The hosts are very responsive and were very kind to leave some of their own delicious eggs for us in the fridge. We enjoyed our quiet get away and would love to come back! Thank you Renee and James!

We enjoyed our stay and took advantage of all the amenities (bbq, fire pit, paddleboat and canoe). Our cottage had a dock just steps away from it, there were plenty of chairs for lounging by the water. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and dishes. Make sure to bring paper towel and a dish cloth. Overall we loved our stay and would come back again!

Place was clean, and well maintained. Close enough to Algonquin Park. You can see canon lake from the cabin. The cabin was nice inside, great selection of movies. Brandon was very accommodating considering we booked less than 24 hrs before check in. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back!

Jennifer’s place was great! Beautiful location, private island all to ourselves. Boating over was easy peasy. We spent lots of time on the deck at the water and there are so many places to sit and relax both inside and out. We had a bonfire one night and played games the other nights. Overall a great experience. 😍

For our first time up in Algonquin, Jess & Stewart's cabin was the perfect stay. They were friendly, responsive, and the place looks exactly like the photos. We even had the chance to see wild turkeys! Even though we came on a rainy weekend, we had a great experience.

This bunkie and the woods it's in is a special place. The property is private and peaceful. We we had fires every night. The bed is super comfortable for being off grid and "roughing" it. Host was always super helpful, we will definitely be back again.
