The house is primarily recommended for those arriving by car, as the nearest public transport is at least 20 minutes away. There are also free bikes in the house.

Logement, à 11 mn en train d'Amsterdam, dans un petit village tranquille près d'un canal, ce que nous avons apprécié après de longues journées à visiter Amsterdam et autres villes (Utrecht, Haarlem, Volendam et autres villages côtiers, Zansee..). Supermarchés à deux pas, donc très pratique. Le logement était conforme à la description, coquet, propre avec une petite terrasse privative dont nous avons bien profité pour les petits-déjeuners et dîners. Quant à Edith et Peter, ils nous ont très bien accueillis et sont très sympathiques. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

Wir waren zu dritt bei Karin zu Gast in dieser sehr schönen ruhigen Wohnung. Karin hat uns von Anfang an hilfreich unterstützt und war für alle Fragen jederzeit ansprechbar und sehr freundlich. Da sie oben drüber wohnt, stand sie schnell zur Verfügung. Wir waren in 10 Minuten zu Fuß am Bahnhof Haarlem, um mit der Bahn in 15 Minuten in Amsterdam anzukommen. Am Abend genossen wir die Ruhe auch im kleinen Garten der Wohnung nach dem ganzen Trubel. Aber auch Haarlem selbst ist ein Besuch wert. Auch kommt man mit dem Bus oder mit dem Rad schnell ans Meer, wenn man das noch einplanen möchte. Da die Wohnung keine Küche hat kann man nicht selbst kochen, wir hatten aber alles zur Verfügung um in der Wohnung zu frühstücken. Karin hat uns sogar das Abwaschen übernommen - ein perfekter Ort für einen Kurzurlaub.

Our stay at Charlotte‘s house was just wonderful. Everything was absolutely clean and very cozy. The Bloemendaal train station was just a 5min walk away and took us in 5min to the Haarlem city center and 25min to Amsterdam. The communication was extremely friendly. All in all we had a great time there :)!

Iris was an incredible host. Super responsive and always checking in, and so gracious. There was a bottle of wine on the kitchen table for us when we walked in. The place is perfect and homey, wonderfully decorated and 4 min walk to the Halfweg train station and can be at Amsterdam Central within minutes. Also free parking 5 min walk away which is an even bigger bonus if you have a car. Cannot recommend Iris’ place enough and would definitely stay there again!
