House vacation rentals in Hakone

Shoko was the best Airbnb host we have ever had. She was extremely responsive and helpful with lots of recommendations. She even made reservations for us and gifted us many local treats. I would very highly recommend Shoko's place and plan to visit again.

My wife and I are from China and chose this house for our first time in Fuji. It is very clean and comfortable, and is our ideal Japanese home. We didn't pay attention to the time on our first day because of shopping, which made it impossible for us to take the bus back to the house. Ken very considerately helped us to call a taxi. The night in Fuji is dark because of the street lights, but don't worry, the road is very safe. There is also a lot of delicious food next to the house, which you can easily find on Google. When we left, Ken also very considerately sent us to the station. My wife and I are very satisfied, recommended!

Apartment is near to the Kawaguchiko station and within 5 minutes walk. A very quiet neighbourhood. Spacious and 2-storey with stairs with own backyard and front porch to park a car. Everything as described in the informations and photos provided. Host is super super responsive! Friendly and helpful. Thank you! I would recommend 👍🏽

A memorable experience, the hostess welcomed us very warmly and provided us with all the help we needed.The house is in a good location, you can see Mt. Fuji from the house, and it is only a 2-minute walk from Shiratori Beach, which means that we can see the sunrise of Mt. Fuji without having to get up too early.Highly recommend staying here and hope to come back in the future.

We had great time and it’s close to train station. Property was well maintained and feel like home. Host is flexible on all our requests like late check in -check out.

Really love the hospitality, cleanliness of the unit, peacefulness of the neighbourhood with plenty of stores of restaurants around. If I come back to Fujinomiya one day I will definitely pick this place again!

We loved our stay at Kayo's place during our recent trip to Hakone. The bagels and home made granola for breakfast were yum. Close to good restaurants, walking trails and shrines. Easy to get into Gora by bus.

The host was quick to respond to our inquiries. I appreciated the clear instructions when we had to arrange for our luggage to be couriered to the Airbnb. The house itself is spacious, with heating/air conditioning, water dispenser, washing machine, etc. A general note that 2 out of 3 bedrooms are upstairs, and the bathroom & toilet (along with the living room & kitchen) are downstairs. Upstairs guests will have to be fine with going up & down a flight of stairs (there are motion sensor lights in place), and leaving their big luggage downstairs. The main road from the station is packed with tourists, so you may wish to follow Google Maps and go through some side lanes/alleys once you become more comfortable navigating the neighbourhood.

Excellent hospitality for 5 days on New Year's Eve! I also had a 4-year-old daughter, but there was a step table, children's dishes, and there was a trampoline, balls, swings, and badminton in the garden, so I could enjoy it with my family without having any time! My parents were also with me, but there were two bedrooms on the second floor, so the sleeping space was comfortable! There were a lot of citrus fruits in the garden, and it was fun to pick tangerines, and it was delicious.😋 Thank you!

The living room on the second floor had a great view and a sense of openness as pictured, and the whole family, including my parents in their 70s, were delighted! If the kitchen had such a nice view, I would be happy to cook every day. I felt luxurious with the high-quality tableware and furniture. I stayed one night, and the first day was rainy and the second day was sunny, so I was impressed by the sunny day. The kitchen, bathroom, and toilet were very clean and very pleasant. The bath was spacious and the floor was soft, so it was safe even for a 1-year-old, and I was satisfied without going to a nearby hot spring! The facilities and location were great, and the host's messages were accurate and quick, making it a very memorable experience. Thank you!

It was very appreciated because it was close to the destination and fully equipped with a kitchen and refrigerator. The bath was large and easy to use.I will stay again if I have the opportunity.

Great view of Mt.Fuji !

I was travelling with my elderly mother who is wheelchair bound and needed to confirm details which were promptly answered. The views of Mount Fuji was amazing, best viewed from. the s 2nd floor. House is recommended for people with disabilities as both toilet and bathroom are located downstairs. There is a step from the genkan and then you can use a walker throughout. Highly recommend the house for the view alone but it was also spacious and would suit families.

This is an incredible spot. The house is huge, far bigger than we needed but we ended up enjoying using all the space. The outdoor Onsen is the star of the show. It’s divine. If you want a peaceful spot that is easy to get to with a private Onsen, look no further!

Yuko's place was one of the best places we have stayed in Japan. First time having mattresses that won't make your back sore! The light blocking blinds were also a plus. The place was comfortable, clean and very cozy. We would love to stay again in the future.

This location is for people who don't like to be surrounded by people, very silent peaceful amazing traditional house and garden . Kimiko is very welcome person. pick us up from the real way station and bring back last day. Who miss speaking english there is Military bar 5 minutes walk very welcome place. I enjoyed Kimiko's peaceful place specially after coming from noise Tokyo. Highly recommended.

This is my second time using it. Like last time,🍕 they provided us with service handmade pizzas. More than last time, they have improved the mood🍖 of pizza dough, BBQ setup, and improved the relaxing space [measures against the cold], which is better. It was a great stay because of the environment and the feeling of hospitality. Would love to return again.

This place was AMAZING. The views shown in the photos are even more breathtaking, peaceful and beautiful. The air smells like flowers and the birds never stop singing beautiful songs. The property was well kept and well maintained. It was clean and the sauna and sauna tub were awesome additions! 10/10

A beautiful house with a stunning view of Fuji-san. 10 mins walk to Oshino Hakkai. As long as you’re okay with using a public onsen for washing, this place is great

My wife and I spent a long time choosing where to stay in Kawaguchiko, and we’re so glad we picked this villa. It’s spacious, well-equipped, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. But the highlight is the stunning view of Fuji-san, visible right from the villa and the surrounding area. When we arrived, the sky was completely overcast. In the evening, Fuji-san briefly peeked through the clouds, almost teasing us — but the next morning, we saw her in all her majestic beauty. There are several nice restaurants nearby, and just an 8-minute walk away there’s a 7-Eleven, which is a popular spot for photographing Fuji-san. If we ever return to Kawaguchiko, we would definitely stay at Fujizakura again!
