A great secluded spot surrounded by nature. There are plenty of walking trails nearby, making it perfect for peaceful getaways. The host was very responsive and always available if we needed anything. Highly recommend!

Hosts made this whole experience amazing. They were so friendly and responsive and helped so much when we asked for a taxi, directions, rentals, and even calling places to make reservations! The hotel was cozy and clean with a great location to bike or walk around the lake. Even though we didn't see, you will have clear views of Mt. Fuji while staying if the clouds are clear.

It's a great memory. Mr. Mark is a very gentlemanly person, we can communicate in simple English, he is very welcoming, considerate, and will take the initiative to help, and will promptly deal with problems encountered during the check-in process. I stayed here for two days, the room is clean and tidy, the night is also very quiet, and the sleep is also very comfortable. Also, I really like Mark's breakfast, it's the best I've had in Japan, and it's different every two days. I was in a hurry, if I had more time, I would have talked to Mark more, he's an interesting person. Finally, I've attached my trip and check-in photos.

Our host Jun was extremely accommodating by picking us up/dropping us off at various bus/train stations during our stay. He advised us for activities in the area, places to eat, etc. The evening meal offered is excellent and cheap. The accommodation is close to the departure of a little known tourist hike that offers a magnificent view of Mount Fuji upon arrival. Great experience!

Super nice host and staff. The room was comfortable and cozy, the location was in perfect walking distance to food and FujiQ Highland. It was a safe neighborhood and easy to navigate. The amenities were perfect for our overnight stay and we would’ve been comfortable staying longer given the clean, friendly, and excellent maintenance of the property.

Amazing host! We only stopped over a night to visit Fuji before leaving! However we’ll be back! Rui was very helpful and had a bike rental service which was affordable and great bikes, good location to walk or cycle and see the lake and mountains! Good clean space and had a view of the mountain, peaking above the clouds! Highly recommend to anyone looking around the area!

The place is a bit out of the way, but it is nice and quiet. It is very near Lake Yamanaka, about 5 min leisure walk to it. Very easy to catch the sunrise by the lake in the morning. We also had the view of Mt. Fuji from our room. The hosts were also very friendly and helpful. Will recommend.

This was the best, most memorable part of my trip to Japan. The hostel is so beautiful and has a stunning view through Mt. Fuji. I loved the beautiful and peaceful rooftop, with a trampoline and a hammock. Also, the access to free bicycle was the cherry on the top - it is very close to Lake Kawaguchi and I recommend going for a cycling trip. The facilities are so clean and the people and so kind and helpful. I loved my stay and absolutely recommend. I wish I would have stayed more days!

I can really recommend this place. You can view mount Fuji from your room. It is an amazing. The host was really helpful as well and super friendly. The hotel itself is amazing as well since it’s traditional Japanese and has a 24/7 cento (bathhouse / hot spring).

The hotel is lovely and a great stay, but if you are not traveling by car, or not trekking by foot, then the Fuji city area is not a good place to visit the famous sights of Mt. Fuji. Most of the more popular attractions around Mt. Fuji are on the northern side of the mountain, while Fuji city is on the southern side. So make sure you are aware of the necessary travel arrangements for the famous sights before booking this place, if you plan to visit such sights as the Fuji lakes or the Fuji cable ride

This place was worth every penny we paid. This sharehouse is beautifully decorated, clean, and private. There’s plenty of sinks and two showers, and there are little boards so you can reserve the bath. I 10/10 recommend this place to even shy ones who may usually avoid shored locations.

A nice accommodation, with a lot of equipment in the kitchen like fresh coffee, snacks etc. The check-in was very flexible and smooth. We were able to reserve a free parking space before checking in. Also the receptionist was very friendly and had a lot of good tips for restaurants and activities in the area. All in all a great and good value stay if you don’t want to spend too much!

Absolutely incredible. From start to finish the best experience I’ve had on Airbnb. From included transfer to and from the station to the house. To the amazing hospitality from Tohru and his wife. They made you feel so at home, with their friendly conversation. I have never met two people who were so jubilant with happiness. A complete utter privilege to be staying with them. Had a great stay. Responsive host made pick up and communication very easy. Pickup, drive to the restaurant, and drop off to the bus stop in the morning was so appreciated. The room was clean with nice amenities. The indoor and outdoor bath was beyond pleasant- on a clear day there is a clear view of fuji-san. I highly recommend!
