Vacation rentals with a patio in Haiku-Pauwela

Excellent location right on the beach! Loved being on the top floor unit as well, no noise from neighbors, very peaceful! We loved the carts by the elevator for carrying our luggage/groceries from the car upstairs to the unit. Had everything we needed in the kitchen, the BBQs outside were a huge bonus. Lots of extras like beach chairs and umbrella for use which came in handy. The pull out bed was surprisingly comfortable! We didn't realise when we booked it that there are not only 2 bathrooms but two showers in the unit as well, this was a huge bonus us. Host was super accommodating, polite and thoughtful. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Nate’s place was clean, convenient, and right on the water. Every morning we looked forward to watching the tide and seeing the sea turtles, there were even binoculars we could use! The location was extremely convenient and Nate was super responsive. I’d definitely stay here again when I am back in Kihei!

Marie was fantastic! Her place was spotless, and I felt right at home. I’ve traveled all over and stayed in several Airbnbs, but Marie’s place has everything one could think of. Like ziplock bags and laundry baskets. It is the little things that makes this spot worth it. It was also very clean and located near some great food spots. A bonus was having a sauna to use at our disposal. I would definitely book this Airbnb again.

Very nice Apartment in Kihei directly at the Beach, only 1 minute away. The Apartment was very Clean and everything was available at Check-in. If I plan to visit Maui again, I will definitely come here again!

We stayed at Tray's place for 10 days and absolutely loved it. The apartment was cozy and cute, with comfy bed and everything we needed. We also really loved the location. It is walking distance to the beach, restaurants and groceries. Last but not least, it was a pleasant surprise for us to find snorkelling googles, fins and beach chairs in the apartment! Would definitely book again and recommend it to everyone.

Perfect location to easily drive around the island. The place is cosy and very well equipped (including all you need for the beach and snorkeling), amazing views from the balcony and lovely common outdoor space to relax.

This place was great for our family of five (teenage kids, so basically 5 adults) first trip to Maui. The lanai was my favorite hangout spot with the most gorgeous ocean view and we loved being right across from Kam 3 beach! The beach supplies were awesome! We weren’t bothered at all by the busy street out front that some have commented on. The kitchen was well stocked. Melissa was the most amazing and helpful host I’ve ever had!! She gave great instructions, provided helpful recommendations, and was immediately responsive when we had a snafu with the door code—she was absolutely fabulous! We would definitely choose to stay here again!

This was our second stay at Maui Vista and first time in this condo—everything was just as listed! Shannon’s check-in instructions were clear and sent a week in advance, which made things easy. The location is perfect—2-minute walk to the beach, 10 minutes to shops and restaurants, and parking was always easy. Loved having a full kitchen, plus a rice cooker and Keurig! The in-unit washer/dryer was super convenient. Stress-free, comfortable stay. We’d definitely come back. Mahalo, Shannon!

Wow, we truly felt this was the perfect place for us during our honeymoon. We loved the privacy and open grass area that had the most romantic view. Waking up to the roosters and spotting the geckos around the property really added to the experience. The place was so spacious and has everything you need and more. The best sushi spot, grocery store and breakfast joint are a short walk away. We will never forget this little sanctuary, and hope to come back to it in the future. Thank you so much, Hunter!

This home was as described and the view is out of this world. Every morning we would enjoy our coffee and every evening we would love watching the sunset from the lanai. As you can see from other reviews, this house gets 5 stars because the pros are endless. However - we want to go over a few cons because as a group we rented both sides of the townhouse ($$$$$) and there were some issues that we felt may have swayed our decision to stay there had we known. 1) The homeless in the area. There is public beach access next door to an empty lot - There is then a church that provides free daily meals right behind the home. Put all of this together and the area has become a hang out spot. We had authorities called twice (sleeping in the bushes right outside our room that had bars installed on the windows/blocking the driveway) but could have called them every day. 2) No AC (we knew this) but it gets HOT and if you have littles it will be a problem. 3) Rocky beach entry. Bring water shoes!

A wonderful quiet and peaceful home. We spent 3 days of our Maui vacation on the east. Short driving distance to attractions on Hana side. We enjoyed the remoteness of turistic noises. This is a gem!

Mike and Ashley were incredibly amazing and helpful. They really went above and beyond for us. Really appreciated the special touch they left us for our anniversary and will recommend them to and friends and family that visit Maui. Their place is beautiful and it looks even better in pictures. It is perfectly homey, private, and quiet, which was very nice but also close to the beach with a three minute walk couldn’t recommend staying with Mike and Ashley more. Thanks for helping make our anniversary trip special!

Kapalua Ridge is an incredible development and Kevin’s place was absolutely stunning. The entire setup gives all the resorts in the area a run for their money. The place itself was clean, well equipped, massive and luxurious. The views of the coast and islands was beautiful and we enjoyed stunning views everyday. It’s a short walk to the beach and few steps past the nearby beach gets you to Kapalua bay which is where the restaurants are. The bathrooms were very large and luxurious - which we loved. Our host Kevin was super responsive and was very helpful with recommendations and helping us find things in the airbnb. Will come back here if in Maui - amazing place.

Beautiful views and tranquil surroundings. We loved listening to the rain come in at night and watching the sea at sunrise and sunset off to either side. Perfect location to see the National park and spend a night or two near Hāna. Mahalo!

We had a fantastic stay at Emma's place! She went above and beyond to help us during our trip. Due to some confusion with time zones, we accidentally arrived a night early, but Emma stayed up late to help us find a place to stay for that night—something we truly appreciated. The next day, she kindly let us check in early and even allowed us to leave our bags after checkout so we could explore Maui without having to lug our suitcases around. Emma was incredibly responsive and helpful with local recommendations, and always quick to answer any questions we had. The place itself was super clean, cozy, and comfortable—perfect for a relaxing stay. We definitely recommend staying here if you're visiting Maui. Thanks again, Emma!

We loved this home. Whether it was having dinner with a Maui Sunset or enjoying the first morning cup on the front patio with the blue Pacific as a backdrop or just enjoying the home and beautifully kept landscaping, with pool, we have nothing but positive things to say about this experience. The owner was very responsive to our questions. Truly felt like we were guests not customers. I was traveling with my Niece and her teen age and adult children and we all loved it. Lots of snorkeling and beach gear. Restaurants, beaches and shopping all very convenient. Several good swimming and snorkeling beaches minutes away. I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described, very clean, nicely decorated, and well-maintained. It had everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The neighborhood was a real highlight too safe, and full of walkable spots like great cafes, restaurants, and little shops. It was easy to explore the area on foot, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The host Andrea was very attentive and responsive! I’d definitely recommend this place and would love to stay here again!

The condo was very clean and a great location! Close to beaches and restaurants and right by the complex pool. Also within 20 minutes of the airport. It was also nice to have full kitchen and washer/dryer. We booked last minute and were very happy with our choice. Check-in and check-out was simple. Jen & Joe were so responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

We loved our time in Paia, the condo was perfectly located for all of our daily adventures. We walked to mamas beach every day for a swim, it was a wonderful location!

Stunning location! 4 adults stayed here (2 min the bedroom, 2 in the living room pull out couch) and only having 1 bedroom was well worth the view and location. Loved being able to walk to the beach right off the property! Very nice washer and dryer too.

We stayed at Kamaole Sands 29 years ago, and being back for our first time and at Anke’s place, we loved it! Felt right at home, had every amenity we needed. The beach supplies were used daily! We drove up to Makena beach and relaxed a lot! Enjoyed restaurants that were within walking distance, grocery stores, and the beautiful sunsets from the lanai!! Thank you again, Anke! We will be back!

We really enjoyed the proximity to the ocean surf. The are lots of things to do in Maui, but we enjoyed the condo so much we mostly just hung out. Thank you Bill for making this a great visit to Maui!

Sara is a fantastic host! She is very easy to communicate with, responds quickly and gives great recommendations. The condo is well situated across from Kamaole III (we watched the sunset there every night) and in close walking distance/short drive to other great beaches. Sara’s condo was a great home base and had everything we needed (beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels etc.). We definitely would not hesitate to stay again!

Kalea’s was alway available to answer questions very quickly. The condo was very well taken care of and had everything we needed. Loved the location and area much different than Kanapali as it’s much closer to other areas of the Island to explore. The lights and fan can be tricky at times but remember your own Hawaiian time. Mahalo
