We stayed here with a few other families with lots of young kids, and the space was great for all of us! Megan supplied extra pack and plays and high chairs, and with the already installed baby gates around the stairs, all of this made it more relaxing for the parents to let the babies wander and play without getting hurt. The older kids loved the race car beds and lofted beds with the climbing walls to get into the upper loft space - a really cool feature and where the kids played the most. We also used the movie theater room a lot and enjoyed the popcorn machine - a very nice perk!

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful spot for our weekend get away! Perfect space for our family to relax and enjoy the area. The hosts were very accommodating and communicated well. We were in town to visit our son at RPI but wanted to try a different location and this one was awesome. We will be back and will plan to stay longer next time to enjoy the area even more.

My boyfriend and I, along with one of his friends, and our dogs all enjoyed this cabin for my boyfriend’s 30th birthday! It was beautiful, perfect size for us, and seems like the perfect place no matter the season. There are snowmobile trails, ski mountains, a creek out back and kayaks/canoes for our use. The creek was frozen when we visited and the dogs enjoyed being able to run freely up and down it :) We really hope to be able to rent this cabin in the summer and experience the water. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking tools and utensils for anything we wanted to cook. John and Crystal also left dog toys for ours to enjoy and they loved them! Thank you both so much. We had a wonderful long weekend!

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at John's Chalet. The house was exactly as described beautiful inside and out. We loved seeing all the wildlife around the home every day. Great place to stay in a small town that has everything you need. We went Snowboarding at PICO which is only about 40 minutes away. Grocery store less than 1 minute from the house had everything we needed. Loved the Poultney Pub which was also a minute from the house (try the cheesecake). We stopped at Lake George which is also about 40 minutes away. Cassandra was responsive to my messages and went out of her way to give me valentines day recommendations. Truly appreciate her and this stay. If we go back to PICO or Killington, this place will be at the top of our list.

Maura's Guest House was perfect for a family get-together in Wells when we all couldn't squeeze into our father's house. It's very comfy, cozy, and clean, as well as well-appointed with everything you need to relax and enjoy the Adirondacks. Maura was quite helpful and responsive. Wells itself is a quiet little town on Lake Algonquin with a small beach and a local food market less than a 5-minute walk. A lengthy list of activities, hiking trails, and restaurants (Hint: Alpine Grille Th-Sun) in the area is provided. Highly recommend this peaceful gem!
