This property is beautiful and the house is great! Lots of room to spread out. There is no lake access from the property, but there is a free public beach about 10 minutes away, small but not crowded. Our family had a restful time with games, movies, cooking, the beach, and shopping in Clayton, about 20 minutes away. When you get to the turn off of Burton Dam Road, gps says “turn onto Cherokee Ridge Drive” but it’s the driveway to the house. The house number is on Burton Dam Road. My wife and I have all great things to say about our stay! The home was very, very clean and had all the amenities listed. It was perfect because we wanted to feel like we were in the middle of nowhere and it was secluded just like we wanted. Expect to drive 15min+ to get to anything like gas, coffee, groceries. Tons of hiking and nature activities which is what we wanted. Patricia was very accommodating with our dogs which was nice because we like to include them. Two bedrooms, 2 baths with a great screened in back porch and awesome fire pit with seats. We'll definitely stay again when we're in the area! Thanks Pat!

Such a beautiful home and my fiancee and in-laws loved it! Very peaceful and tranquil area with a lovely view of the river out back. Game room and Jacuzzi were the best parts of the house. Tons of towels and amenities provided. 19 minutes from Helen and 18 minutes from a Walmart so it's placed in a decent area. The host communicates well and is very helpful with any questions you may have.

Scotty's cabin is fantastic! The rooms were impeccably clean. The kitchen had every utensil you could ever want. We really enjoyed the game room/man cave. It was a big hit! The cabin is a the very top of the mountain and has the best scenic drive. We would definitely recommend this place to others!

a fantastic country retreat set in a beautiful wooded lake community in the North Georgia mountains. I've been coming to the lakemont area since before I was 10 years old. My grandparents built a house on Lake Rabun in the 1930s. I never knew the Jacqueline Lodge was tucked up behind the village of lakemont. but there it was, and that's where we stayed. it is beautifully renovated and updated with everything you could want. can't say enough good about this place. Scott was very responsive to the two questions I had. I will stay there again.

Loved staying here on my recent trip to North GA. The lake access was nice for me to bring my kayak and enjoy the peaceful water during my stay! I would highly recommend this home for your next stay in the North GA mountains!

The house was amazing, plenty of room, very clean and close to the lake and many restaurants and places to visit. The host was responsive and great getting all the info to me to get into the house. I will definitely be staying here again.

I couldn't be more pleased with my first AirBnB stay. The place was clean, inviting, and well-stocked. I wasn't expecting spices, dog toys, dog bowls, dog cot, etc. The fully fenced in yard, lake access, available kayaks, and privacy are the only things I wanted and this place sure supplied! the hot tub, outdoor shower, and firepit were huge bonuses. Also, met and talked with the neighbor who is super friendly 😉 I stayed alone the first half with my dogs and got my peace in. The second half a couple girl friends joined and we thoroughly enjoyed paddling out the this little island and throwing rocks, trying to fish, etc. Enjoying using the coloring supplies, games, and grill as well! It did storm most of the week, but even that was enjoyable! 10/10 experience for us all.

We had a wonderful stay at this home in Clayton, GA while in town for a wedding with another family. The house had everything we needed—super clean, well-stocked, and very comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made meals easy, and the whole place had such a welcoming, cozy feel. The location was perfect—just a short walk into town, which is absolutely adorable. We happened to be there during a local festival, and it was such a treat to see the community in action. Lots of local pride and charm all around! The outdoor space was a huge bonus. The pool and hot tub were a hit with the kids, and the spacious yard gave them plenty of room to run around and play. It was a quick trip, so we didn’t get to explore as much of the area as we would’ve liked, but there’s clearly a lot to see and do. We’d definitely love to come back and stay longer! Highly recommend this home for anyone visiting the Clayton area—whether for a special event or just a relaxing getaway.

We enjoyed our stay! The hot tub area was great, the pool was cute, the bedroom sizes were great and the kids loved that the bedroom had a night light in the bunk room for them! The house was perfect for our stay.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Teresa and Michael’s beautiful home for a weekend wedding at a nearby vineyard, and everything about our stay exceeded expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth by Teresa, Michael, and their adorable dog Jack! Their home is spacious, spotless, and full of charm. Every little detail has been thoughtfully considered, and we had everything we needed to feel completely at home. One of the highlights was the generous gift of fresh, free-range eggs from their hens — such a lovely touch! After the whirlwind of the wedding, we were so grateful to be able to unwind by their stunning pool area, especially since they kindly let us stay past checkout time (as no other guests were arriving that day). It was exactly the kind of peaceful, restorative moment we needed with our loved ones. Thank you, Teresa and Michael, for your hospitality, kindness and for making this weekend extra special for our entire family!

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked for cooking in, and the amenities were great. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, and fishing along the river. The kids toys and games were a nice addition. Nicki was very friendly and responsive. We’d love to stay here again next year!

Loads of character, bright and cheery. Host was super friendly and stocked the place with snacks and drinks. Very clean with plenty of towels and linens. Love all the farm animals. Great place to bring your dog with plenty space to roam.

We had a wonderful stay in this perfect cabin in the woods! Liz was a great host! Easy entry instructions as well as lots of recommendations for local dining and activities offered in the area. Great selection of games, reading material, puzzles and movies. Especially loved the deck for outside dining and the fire pit area, as well as the walking trails on the property. Many deer sitings! Already planning a trip back in the Spring!

Regina was extremely kind and responsive. I loved the privacy of the home. It was quiet and peaceful. I noticed she is an artist in which she had her artwork all over her home, in which I appreciated. The wrap around porch was my favorite. Great place to have a morning cup of coffee. Everything you needed, she offered. Close to Helen and surrounding. I would love to stay again.

Great view! Beautiful home! We loved the area so much, we found a piece of land to buy to have our own little piece of heaven there. We spent a whole day chasing waterfalls and it was nice having the cabin to relax at. Highly recommend!

Nothing better could be asked for. Plenty of peace, and beautiful scenery. Deer and bear could be seen at base of property from deck. Great host, very communicative. A++ home
