Vacation rentals in Haarlemmermeer

We loved staying in Bart’s house. The neighbourhood is very peaceful and pretty and the transport links are excellent. We easily took trains to Amsterdam, Haarlem and The Hague. The house was very comfortable with everything we needed. The children loved all the playgrounds nearby too. Thank you for having us!

We had a wonderful family holiday here. The house and garden were comfortable, spacious and very well maintained and equipped. We had everything we could possibly need and more, and felt at home from the minute we arrived. This is just the perfect place to stay if you want a peaceful base , near the airport, especially if travelling with young children. We hired a car to get around easily, and used the Park & Ride into Amsterdam which was easy and cheap. We would highly recommend this to others, thank you so much.

We (2 adults, 2 children) stayed for a week at this beautiful house. Pretty much everything about it was perfect. The house itself is stunning, and the children loved their bedrooms. The neighbourhood is peaceful, green and close to local shops (the local supermarket has everything you would need), a few restaurants and cafés, and the local train station. From the station Zandvoort was 6mins, the beautiful city of Haarlem 3mins and Amsterdam about 25mins. You could also easily cycle locally too. Fleur was a great host from our initial booking and throughout our stay. We tried out a few of the recommendations in the check-in guide and she was fast to respond when we had a couple of questions. We would highly recommend staying here in Overveen. Thank you Fleur and family.

Très jolie maison décorée avec beaucoup de goût, spacieuse et confortable. Charmant jardin au bord de l'eau. Rien ne manquait. Gros coup de cœur pour Haarlem, petite ville à 15 mn en train de Amsterdam, vraiment incroyable pleine de charme et de belles découvertes, ou la douceur de vivre règne et a moins de 10 mn des plages. Jons et Bernice ont été très réactifs et les informations fournies sur la maison, les restos, etc étaient très détaillées. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement et Haarlem.

Natasha was a very responsive host and the directions were accurate and easy to follow. The house was as described and pictured and was clean and well maintained. The stairs are typical for the area, so be prepared. The neighborhood worked for us because it was close to my sister, but there aren't a lot of options for coffee or restaurants that are walkable so you either need a bike, or rely on transit which can be slow. My only complaints was that there was not a hair dryer anywhere in the house. Natasha pointed out that she had not listed it as an amenity, which was true, but coming from a different country over the holidays prohibited me from bringing or buying one (they were not sold anywhere nearby and then stores were closed for two days for Christmas). It was very inconvenient and given the quality of this rental, not what I would have expected. Despite that, it was a nice stay in an updated space and Natasha was a good host.

We had a wonderful time in Bloemendaal and were positively surprised how close it was to beautiful Haarlem. We rented bikes from ‚Green Bikes‘ (highly recommend them and only a 25 min walk from the house) and only used our car once to visit Den Haag. Our children loved the nearby lake and we had a great day on the beach (beautiful cycle through the dunes). We would love to come back one day!
