Cosy and comfortable house, near railway station

RachelRating, 5 stars11 months ago
Our family with 3 children had a wonderful stay at Jasper’s place. The house had plenty of space, nice decor and a lovely garden that we used a lot! The neighbours were friendly and the area was a perfect mix of quiet residential street and essential shops and transport within walking distance. Being close to the train station was a huge plus for visiting the bigger towns and cities, and having bicycles available made it easy to get around locally. Our kids loved day trips to the beach, forest, petting zoo, playgrounds, and a lovely pancake restaurant. Jasper was a responsive and friendly host, that really made our stay stress-free. I can especially mention the welcome gift on arrival, good instructions for the house, and great tips for the local area. Highly recommend!
A view from above reveals a contemporary living area illuminated by a unique pendant light. Large windows allow natural light to fill the space, highlighting a comfortable seating arrangement. Subtle decorative elements, including fresh flowers, add a touch of color and warmth to the atmosphere.

Nice charming family house near Bloemendaal beach

DanielRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Saskia’s house is beautiful in peaceful Overveen. The house if anything is bigger and nicer than the photos. Saskia was very friendly and very responsive and generally the stay was great. Overveen has some nice places to eat, Haarlem is just 10 minutes away and Amsterdam is close also. Loved it.
A living area features a green velvet seating arrangement and a light pink sofa, complemented by a colorful area rug. Large windows allow natural light to flow in, framing views of greenery outside. Decorative plants are placed throughout, adding a refreshing touch to the space.

Family home in Haarlem, close to Amsterdam

OliverRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Danielle and Tobias are really great hosts. They even invited us to a video conference before we visited to address any questions. In addition, we received information about the house and the surroundings in advance by email. The house was beautiful and fully furnished and also very clean. The location was really ideal for visiting the area. All in all highly recommended.
A spacious living area features two yellow sofas facing each other, complemented by a round white coffee table. Natural light fills the room through large windows, while a minimalistic dining area with a small round table and white chairs is visible in the background.

Charming well decorated house with sunny garden

StephanieRating, 5 stars12 months ago
Inge’s place is thoughtfully decorated and cozy! Our kids loved playing in her beautiful garden and my older daughter loved playing the piano in the living room. We also loved that there were two playgrounds nearby so our 4 and 9 year old had fun playing. Her place was convenient to the bus stop, a local restaurant, local grocery, all under a 10 min walk. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. It gave us a taste of living in the suburbs of Amsterdam. Her son, Sammie, was responsive to my questions as was Inge. Our family had a great time! Thanks again, Inge and family! One thing to note and totally not host’s fault is that the staircase is winding and a bit narrow. When having young kids that are not used to such stairs, it was a little tricky at times.
A row of modern brick houses is shown, featuring large windows and greenery climbing the walls. A wooden bench is positioned near the entrance of one house, with a pathway lined by plants leading towards the street. The setting appears quiet and well-maintained.

Haarlem, house nearby Amsterdam and the beach

DorelRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We had a great stay. The garden in the back is a great place to have your morning coffee or evening tea and is pretty peaceful as it’s not connected directly to any public road. We enjoyed the place and felt welcomed since it had all the required amenities and we had access to everything we needed (e.g. washing machine). The location is pretty good, but take into account that the nearest supermarket is about 10-15 minutes walk. The train station and city centre are also in walkable distance.

Lovely family house near beach/city

AmberRating, 5 stars59 months ago
This is a great holiday home for both indoor and outdoor living, which is perfect for the unreliable Dutch weather. The garden is huge, sunny, very comfortable with several bean bag chairs and has a barbecue and pizza oven. The house itself is also very spacious and comfortable with a lot of amenities. We had a blast and would definitely recommend!

Lovely family home near Beach & Amsterdam

ClaudiaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Freke is a very dedicated host. The contact with her was relaxed, easy, quick and very friendly. Your house is situated in a charming, quiet residential area without car traffic. Amsterdam is very easy to reach (the trains run about every five to ten minutes), but Haarlem is also an interesting and pretty city. The path to the very nice wide beach can easily be covered by bicycle and leads through beautiful nature reserves with fantastic bike paths. The house corresponds to the description. Great were the very good beds, the pleasant cotton bedding, the beautiful view from the bedroom on the second floor and the chic Quooker in the kitchen. The absolute top feature of the accommodation is the possibility to use a ladies Dutch bike and a state-of-the-art electric cargo bike!!! Overall: Five stars, unreserved recommendation!
Two bicycles are positioned against a brick wall, featuring a basket on the front. Lush greenery is seen in planters nearby, complementing the urban setting. A large window is partially visible, enhancing the scene with a playful light reflection.

Cozy townhouse near the beach

SueRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Beautiful house in a peaceful and friendly neighbourhood, very close to the city centre. We had lovely weather and so having the pretty outside space was great. We swam in the nearby lake at the National Park many times - we preferred this to the beach at Zandfoort which was v busy. It was a great base for exploring Haarlem and also close enough to other cities and towns if you have your car, which we did. The accommodation was comfortable, clean and stylish and Manon was a responsive and friendly host. Would definitely recommend.
A light-filled living room features a white sofa adorned with decorative pillows and throws. A coffee table sits centrally on a textured area rug, complemented by a tall plant and a floor lamp. The television is positioned against the wall, with natural light streaming through large windows.

Beautiful family house in Haarlem

ElisabethRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Kira's lovely home was perfect for our family of 4 (2 young adult children), and Kira was warm and clear in her communications. We had expected to travel with my husband's elderly parents, and the steep, narrow stairs in this home would not have worked for them, but we had no problem at all. We love Haarlem and would be happy to return and stay in Kira's home again!
A spacious bedroom features a plush bed with a colorful floral duvet and two accent pillows. Natural light filters through the shuttered windows, illuminating the room. Decorative mirrors and framed art hang on the walls, adding subtle charm to the inviting space.

Beautiful spacious house in cozy Haarlem

DanielRating, 5 stars10 months ago
The house and location were both great. We were looking for a place in Amsterdam and we came across Haarlem by chance when searching AirBnB. It turned out to be a very lucky find for us. Haarlem itself is very nice. We also rented a car and explored several areas of Holland, all easy drives. The free street parking outside the house was convenient and always available. Our kids really enjoyed the toys and the yard. We'd be very happy to stay at Sylvia's again on a future visit.
A light and spacious living area features a modern gray sectional sofa with an accompanying ottoman. The wall displays two framed abstract artworks, contributing to the room's stylish decor. A warm wooden lamp and decorative branches add subtle warmth.

Lovely Haarlem's family home

LouiseRating, 5 stars11 months ago
We had a truly wonderful stay in Mathilde’s gorgeous home. The house itself is amazing - beautiful interiors, more spacious than the photos appear, very comfortable and everything you could need for both children (including lots of toys) and adults (including an awesome coffee machine). The location is equally amazing - very close to fantastic coffee shops, independent and high street shops and bars/restaurants (and great ice cream), but also very close to the forests, dunes and great play options for little ones. We hired bikes and loved exploring Haarlem and using the train to get to Amsterdam - we didn’t need or miss the car. Mathilde was a great host too - very friendly, responsive and sent a great list of recommendations. We were very sad to leave and can’t wait to come back - thank you.
A modern kitchen features a central island with a sleek countertop. Pendant lights hang above, illuminating the space. Open views are provided towards the living area, where large glass doors allow natural light to fill the room. A cozy seating arrangement can be seen in the background.

Super family house near Haarlem center and beach!

LauraRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We really enjoyed our stay in Annemijn's home! It was in a quiet residential neighborhood that was a short walk to the train station and a reasonable walk to the town center. We found a couple of grocery markets not too far away. The house itself was lovely and perfect for our family (including two adult children) -- plenty of space for us all. I especially appreciated that the house was home-y yet free of personal clutter. The living room was spacious and comfy with big windows/doors leading to the back yard -- and the outdoor garden area was a nice place to hang out in the evenings.
A stylish living area is presented, featuring a brown leather sofa and a grey armchair. Colorful artwork adorns the walls, with a wooden cabinet and an acoustic guitar in the space. Natural light fills the room, with the open kitchen visible in the background.

Lovely family home Haarlem near Amsterdam & beach

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful home. We found the location great and enjoyed exploring Haarlem, the beach and Amsterdam. Bart provided thorough instructions/ information about the house and the local area. The hosts tip about cycling through the National park to the beach was spot on and made for a great outing with our kids (10 & 7). We would most definitely recommend this AirBnB to others!

Family house with garden by the water in Amsterdam

ShaRating, 5 stars22 months ago
Nice unit in row housing, very quiet neighborhood. Plenty of space, and a well-appointed kitchen for cooking. Right off the canal, with a large playground, grocery store, and tram into central Amsterdam a short walk away. Was too cold for swimming but seems possible. Ivan was great at helping us get settled in. The description was a little vague on bedding, but there is a master bedroom with a large bed, and 2 smaller bedrooms upstairs, all sharing a bathroom. The one bedroom had a loft bed, and the other had an air mattress, which was fine for our 2 kids. This definitely lived in by Boris's family including younger kids, and rented part-time, so definitely "lived in", but also means there's lots of games and such. Some "interesting" possibly kid-inappropriate pictures, if they're paying attention! Overall a perfect place for a few days in Amsterdam!
A modern kitchen area features dark cabinetry and a stovetop, with a dining space comprised of a glass table and four upholstered chairs. Natural light floods the room, highlighting the wooden flooring and a glimpse of greenery visible through large doors.

Haarlem - Large family house (Amsterdam Beach)

FrancoiseRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a great time at Jan Pieter's, the house and the neighborhood are very nice and peaceful. Be careful, however, of the stairs that are very steep but perfectly safe. Lots of shops nearby on foot and finally Haarlem is a very pretty city where it's nice to stroll. We'll be happy to go back!
The spacious kitchen features a large island with seating for six, surrounded by modern cabinetry and a colorful tile backsplash. A skylight bathes the room in natural light, while flowers and sunflowers add a touch of freshness.

Cosy family house in the very heart of the city

RemkeRating, 5 stars11 months ago
This was the perfect house for me and our three kids (17, 15, 13). The moment we walked in, we felt at home. It's a gorgeous house with so much character and history to it, beautifully decorated and with lots of space for all of us to hang out and sleep. The location is also fantastic: safe, pretty and you can walk/bike everywhere easily from there plus take a train from the nearby central station to get to yet other places. Nanja is a wonderful host, our communication was seamless. Thank you for letting us stay at your house!

Wonderful family home with a laid-back beach vibe

RonenRating, 5 stars22 months ago
This was a perfectly located home, with an ambience that was both relaxing and very zen. We felt right at home and everything felt comfortable. The house is 15 min drive from Zandvoort Beach, and a quick 20 minute train ride to Amsterdam. Bus/train/supermarkets and town center are walkable and within 5-15 min by foot.
A well-maintained two-story family house is shown, surrounded by neatly trimmed hedges and tall trees. The brick exterior reflects sunlight under a clear blue sky. Several parked cars line the street, contributing to the neighborhood's residential atmosphere.
