Great place and host. 20-30 min away from downtown. Peaceful and quiet place. Outside area over the canal is beautiful. This is our second time here and we recommend it.

Ein tolles und sauberes Haus in einer ruhigen Gegend. Mit 8 Personen sind wir mit den Zimmern und Baderäumen klar gekommen. Pool war in unserer Zufriedenheit!

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in Wenjas schönem Beach House. Es war so liebevoll und schick eingerichtet, die Küche komplett ausgestattet. Die Beschreibung der Wohnung trifft absolut zu. Die Kinder hatten große Freude im Pool zu schwimmen und die Sauna hinterher war eine Wohltat. In ein paar Minuten ist man am wunderschönen Strand mit netter Beach Bar. (Zu erwähnen ist vielleicht, dass ein Abschnitt ein Hundestrand ist. Für unsere Kinder eine Riesen Freude so viele freundliche Hunde anzutreffen. ) Von der Wohnung aus sind es nur ein paar Minuten mit dem Auto zum Shopping Center im Ort und viele Sehenswürdigkeiten (zb Keukenhof, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Zandvoort usw) sind in 20-40 min erreichbar. Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen und werden definitiv wieder kommen. Vielen Dank, dass du dein schönes Haus mit uns geteilt hast, liebe Wenja. Absolute Empfehlung ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nico was incredibly friendly and the house was exactly how it looked in the photos. Very easy access to the sprinter train to get to downtown Amsterdam. Highly recommend!

We felt right at home at Willem‘s place. Loved the beachy feel of the house, the individual decoration, you can see he feels at home here as well. The proximity to the city and train station came in very handy (10min walk), the bed was very comfortable, the little garden area cute and I had no issues working remotely with his internet access. The neighborhood is lively during the day and quiet during the night. The self-checkin was very convenient for our early arrival and very early departure. Haarlem has a great vibe and we would certainly return.

Das Haus liegt idyllisch auf einem Inselstreifen und ist mit dem Boot zu erreichen. Bas hat uns unkompliziert und entspannt in Alles eingeführt und wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub in dem Haus

Linde is a great host, proactive for anything which might go wrong, gave a good list of facilities, restaurants, shops, places of interest and quick to respond to any issues we had. We had a couple of hot days and Linde suggested ways in which we could get cooler. The location is great, just 5 mins from the railway station. There is a park across the road and a boat hire 2 mins away. Amsterdam is 20 mins away by train. We went to Amsterdam several times but it is so crowded compared to Haarlem. We had small children with us. They loved the toybox which Linde had generously left. All in all we had a great host, a great location and a great stay.

I landed Amsterdam early and Patricia let me check in early. The house is only 15 minutes away from the airport and located near school and grocery store. I forgot to bring my adapter and Patricia was nice enough to offer me hers. She also provided water, juice and snacks for breakfast. The master bedroom has nice layout and ample sunlight. Definitely recommend Patricia’s place if you’re in Amsterdam area!

We must start with our host, Thijs, who is warm, really helpful, communicates lucidly and rapidly, and is his own best asset. His home is on one of the loveliest streets in Haarlem; all green, quiet, in a pedestrian and bicycle-only zone; walking distance to a canal, our favorite coffee shop in Haarlem, Maeve,, and just around the corner from our favorite breakfast and lunch restaurant, Ti Bissou. It is a short walk to anyplace one might wish to visit or shop in Haarlem. The apartment is just as pictured -- lots of light and spacious, but with privacy through very sensible design. The kitchen and bath facilities are excellent; the rest of the living space is clean and very comfortable. We did not get to use the small garden space due to the weather, however the view and light were always a lovely start to the day, as were the many birdsongs that began early and sweetly. Highly recommended; we plan to return.

It was the perfect place for us and our two girls (age 2 and 6). The backyard was lovely and we enjoyed spending time outside whenever the weather allowed. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. The only negative was the wifi did not work well. Just something good to be aware of.

Tolles Haus geeignet für Familien mit Kleinkinder. Küche und Haus generell mit alles notwendiges und modern ausgestattet, schnelle Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber. Der Garten ist sehr schön mit kleinen Spielecke für die kleine Gäste. Falls wir wieder im Region kommen, würden wir gerne wieder den Unterkunft buchen!

Our stay at Charlotte‘s house was just wonderful. Everything was absolutely clean and very cozy. The Bloemendaal train station was just a 5min walk away and took us in 5min to the Haarlem city center and 25min to Amsterdam. The communication was extremely friendly. All in all we had a great time there :)!

Der Aufenthalt in Moniques Unterkunft war fabelhaft. Das Haus ist äußerst geschmackvoll und hochwertig eingerichtet und lädt dazu ein auch mal den Abend zu Hause zu verbringen. Die Küche ist sehr groß, ebenso gut ausgestattet wie die eigene und lädt zum Kochen ein. Monique ist sehr sehr freundlich und offen. Die Kommunikation lief super und unkompliziert. Die Lage ist optimal, zentral aber ruhig. Mit kleinem Innenhof ist das Haus für jede Jahreszeit gut geeignet. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

Ein superschönes Häuschen im Wald, ruhig gelegen und doch zentral. Wir waren schnell mit dem Zug von Heemstede in Amsterdam (haben das Auto am Bahnhof Heemstede geparkt). Unser Highlight war der "Besuch" einiger Rehe, die wir vom großen Wohnzimmerfenster aus beobachten konnten. Die Unterkunft anfangs zu finden war etwas schwierig, da das Navi den privaten Waldweg nicht kennt, durch Nachfragen in der Nachbarschaft war dies für uns dann aber kein Problem mehr. Ein Supermarkt ist mit wenigen Schritten zu erreichen. Ein besonderer Ort mit jeder Menge Erholung im Garten / Wald, aber auch im Haus, welches eine schöne Geschichte hat und liebevoll renoviert und gestaltet ist.

Alexander and Marijete's place was a delightful place to spend a week exploring Haarlem, and Holland. The house is beautiful and comes with everything you would expect to find in a family home and more. This suited us perfectly, and our Toddler really enjoyed playing with the toys and games which were a great bonus. The house is located in a nice quiet neighborhood, in walking (or biking on the included bikes) distance from Haarlem; with a good supermarket also nearby. We used bikes or bus (bus stop 2 mins) to get into town, which allowed us to connect via rail to Amsterdam in around 20 mins. The other great thing about Haarlem is that it is equally close to the beaches of Zandvoort and Bloemendaal. The beaches are clean and have good cafes nearby; we were luck to have great weather all week so had two days at the beach. Other recommends: Delft (pottery and great fleamarket), Zansee Schans (Windmills, clogs and cheese), Efteling (magical theme park) Amsterdam (lots to do!)

Wir hatten wunderbare 4 Tage in der Unterkunft. Der Check-in war einfach und unkompliziert. Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war sehr nett und schnell. Es wurde jederzeit auf Fragen reagiert. Das Haus ist wirklich toll alles vorhanden was man für einen entspannten Urlaub benötigt. Das Haus ist Stilvoll eingerichtet und es war sehr sauber. Die Lage war gut, Haarlem Zentrum war schnell zu erreichen sowie verschiedene Supermärkte, die man auch fußläufig Erreichen konnte. Innerhalb von 20 Min. war man mit dem Auto am Strand mit dem Fahrrad ca. 35 min. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder buchen 💛

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in Haarlem sehr genossen! Die Unterkunft war großzügig und sauber, zweckmäßig eingerichtet und gemütlich. In und um Haarlem ist man mit dem Fahrrad und den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln sehr mobil. Die Städte Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Den Haag sind super zu erreichen, der Strand mit dem Fahrrad und dem Bus ebenfalls. Die Stadt ist wunderschön, man kann viel entdecken und abends toll ausgehen.

Michiel's house is stunning and beautiful. We loved every detail of it - the paintings, the furniture, everything was unique and in perfect harmony with the beautiful old house. The rooms are spacious and bright. We all loved the sunny and shady patio/garden. The kids were playing ping-pong almost all the time, and we all enjoyed sitting at the wooden garden table having drinks and nibbles in the sun. Michiel is a lovely host - very proactive, very caring, very quick in answering questions. He had put together a very detailed manual for the house and its surroundings (including recommendations for the best bakery, the best supermarkets and the very best chip shop). We were even allowed to use the family's city bikes, which was absolutely great given that Haarlem is a city made for cyclists. Also very nice neighborhood with many kids and friendly people. It was always easy to find a parking lot in the street, and the parking there is for free!

Hi Thomas, What a wonderful family home! With several bedrooms — one for each of our kids — and a large kitchen with an actual swing, this house was perfect for our family. The interior is stylish and full of charm, with a relaxing sauna and a beautiful outdoor kitchen that made every moment feel special. The spacious kitchen quickly became our central hangout spot, and the swing chairs added a fun, cozy touch. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged. The neighborhood is peaceful and lovely, with both a supermarket and train station just a short walk away. From here, it was easy to reach the beach, explore Haarlem, or hop on a train to Amsterdam. The internet was lightning fast, making working or streaming effortless. Our children had the time of their lives, and so did we. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and full of helpful local tips. We truly enjoyed every minute and are already dreaming of coming back. A true gem in Bloemendaal!

Wir hatten als Familie eine tolle Zeit in Haarlem in der super Unterkunft. Super schön, alles was man braucht war da, ruhige und angenehme Nachbarschaft, immer ein Parkplatz vor der Tür und das Zentrum super zu erreichen. Bart & Jenny waren klasse zu erreichen und haben alles Relevante proaktiv mit uns geteilt. Zu empfehlen :)

Geweldig huis op toplocatie! Alles was aanwezig voor een geweldig verblijf — van een volledig uitgeruste keuken met openslaande deuren tot gezellige terrasjes en zithoeken binnen en buiten. De tuin is heerlijk, met een trampoline, mooie loungebanken en in de zon! Binnen hebben we genoten van de heerlijke open keuken met openslaande deuren naar terras, een heerlijke open haard en de kinderen vonden de kinderkamer met playstation geweldig en natuurlijk de flipperkast als kers op de taart. De ligging is perfect: een hele rustige buurt, 5 minuten van het strand en het bos begint letterlijk om de hoek. We hebben elke dag gewandeld tussen de herten. Ook de fietsen waren heerlijk in gebruik! Echt een plek waar je tot rust komt en kan genieten! Een enorme aanrader!

Our stay in this beautiful family home was wonderful from the start. I’ve never before stayed anywhere so well stocked with wine (of course we still brought our own groceries) and with so many gadgets and appliances, there was nothing missing! It’s been renovated with high end finishings, things are generally beautiful, and everything’s works efficient and practical. The living kitchen/dining is spacious with lots of light from back garden, which, if weather permits, is another nice space to sit. It’s a short drive to the beach which made it easy to go to for the kids to play in the sand and for lunches and dinner at various beach clubs in Bloemendaal aan Zee. Would love to stay here again!
