In the garden overlooking the Rhine, there are various seating and BBQ areas.

Huge windows provide stunning Dutch views onto the river, the grass meadows with cows & sheep and a picturesque village in the distance. The river is quiet water so have a sauna & a swim, take out the kayak, big canoe or SUPboard. We have a heatpump for the floor heating, and used upcycled items such a charming wood-stove, a fantastic bath, a fully-equipped kitchen, bikes, a firepit & trampoline.

The inner cities of Enschede, Hengelo, Oldenzaal and Borne are within cycling distance of the house. The lovely villages of Delden, Goor, Boekelo are also in the vicinity. Need a little time out? Our modern and cozy apartment is located in the middle of Haltern's city center. On the balcony with a small lounge and relaxing lounger you can relax. Maybe after a relaxing bath in our luxury bathroom? :) The spacious rooms are perfect for families, couples and also furry friends. Within walking distance there is everything you need, in Haltern's beautiful old town with all the cafes, bars, restaurants and a supermarket.

The lake house is located directly on the lake and perfectly combines the features of a cozy Scandinavian-style house with the amenities of a modernly equipped accommodation with exclusive and luxurious highlights. The sauna, hot tub and fireplace offer relaxation. One of our highlights is the loft nets, which allow a view over the lake. The vacation home has 2 bedrooms with box spring beds. Two more people can sleep on the sofa bed.

Right across the border from Woold-Barlo is the Grenspeddelaar. In front of it is a shop and gas station, which is where it all started. Meanwhile, the gas station is unmanned and the former shop has been converted into a charming and comfortable guest house. The Grenspeddelaar is located in a special place: there is sometimes commotion, but there are also grazing cows across the road. Every guest, holidaymaker or passerby is welcome!
