Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

We had a really great stay at the property. The lake is within 10 minutes walking distance and is perfect for cooling off. The only drawback was the mosquitoes this year, so we couldn't open the windows at night to cool down so well. Flight gates would have been helpful. Otherwise great place to stay with a very cozy terrace. Rosemarie is a very nice and helpful gesturer!

Our stay at Hedi's was just wonderful. She is a very pleasant, warm and interesting hostess, with whom you feel welcome from the first moment. We especially remember her blind cat – incredibly sweet and a real little soul that gives the house a special atmosphere. The house itself is a real eye-catcher. Inside and out, you can feel the attention to detail – every room is stylish, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. You don't feel like you're in a vacation home, but like you're in a second home!! Hedi was always available, helpful and took care of everything with a lot of commitment without being intrusive. Her calm and friendly manner creates a very pleasant atmosphere. We felt completely comfortable and can wholeheartedly recommend this place. A place we'd love to return to.

We were only guests at Sarah and Florian's for one night in transit with our little daughter (so we can't comment on the area). The hostess greeted us in a very friendly way and even helped us unload the car; in advance, we were already offered some useful baby gadgets that made the stay even more pleasant for us. The apartment is really very spacious and extremely well equipped. The view from the skylights is also wonderful. There was parking right in front of the house, so the paths are short here too. If we spend a little more time in the area again, we will definitely come back. Thank you very much!
