“The Pinnacle”, A Luxury A-frame Treehouse

Hello and welcome to our little neck of the woods in the Hocking Hills. Our Family has devoted so much into this beautiful modern A-frame cabin that is located on our Family Farm. The cabin was built on a base of a hillside that overlooks a beautiful creek that crosses our land, and also overlooks a beautiful 20 acre meadow, that the local wildlife love to enjoy. We hope to provide a space where you can come and unwind and, take in all the natural beauty that the Hocking Hills has to offer.

Quiet+private 2 bdrm cabin. Located just 5 miles from e. state st. and 7 miles to court st. Our cabin is furnished with 2 king beds, linens provided. The kitchen is fully equipped with coffee maker and outside gas grille. The bathroom has a tub/shower and was recently renovated. Cabin has 2 porches that offer great country views. Local tv, internet. Firepit in private backyard. Pets welcome with pet fee. We are NOT A BUG FREE ENVIRONMENT! You will see ladybugs,stinkbugs, wood beetle and more

Cozy Cabin in the Mountains

Cabin has a loft with a full & twin bed. There is a queen bed, full bath and kitchenette (microwave, coffee pot & mini fridge) on main level. Guests are welcome to use outside kitchen which has full fridge, gas, charcoal & flat top grill. There is also tables and outside shower on 15x40’ deck. The fire pit is great on those chilly mountain evenings. 10-20 mins. to historical Belpre, Marietta OH & Parkersburg WVA. Note: There is cell service in cabin but NO wifi. TV is antenna only.

Athens County is rich in beauty, opportunities to enjoy the outdoors, local artisans and entrepreneurs, amazing food and beverages, and home to Ohio University. Although we are only 15 mins from Uptown Athens, we provide a great escape from the hustle and bustle of our small city, nestled in the woods.

Country Getaway

Short drive on the highway from Athens, OH (15 minutes) and Parkersburg, WV(35 minutes). Detached studio apartment located on 25 acres with access to almost 300 acres for walking and fishing(catch and release). Studio apartment has a full kitchen and bathroom, two bed nooks, a chair, and table with four barstools. The space is heated using radiant floor during cool weather and during warm weather cooled by a window unit AC. Owners live about 30ft from rental on the property.

Burr Oak Cabin

Burr Oak Cabin is nestled into the woods of Burr Oak State Park. Just a short walk or drive to Burr Oak Lake where you can enjoy fishing (license required), hiking, or boating. Hiking trails include various state park trails, the American Discovery Trail or the Buckeye Trail. Put in your own boat at the Dock 1 boat ramp (9.9 hp limit) or rent a kayak, canoe, fishing boat or pontoon boat. Rentals available April through October. We have wifi with a Roku smart Tv to stream.

Sweet Peace Forest

Sweet Peace Forest is a secluded nature retreat located in Southeast Ohio. It is 30 minutes from Athens and 20 minutes from Pomeroy. It exudes warmth and nature from the 30 acre forest where it sits, to the ponds, to the carefully crafted and recently remodeled home. No matter which way you look, there's something pleasing to the eye and soothing to the soul.

Secluded Woodland Getaway Near Athens

Completely remodeled C&O train caboose with a large deck and an amazing view looking over the Ohio river and West Virginia. A full size Murphy bed, original writing desk, the dining table is an old sleeper bed turned upside down and all the lights are original out of Pullman train cars No smoking inside the caboose.
