The place is just as beautiful as in the photos—surrounded by nature, with the peaceful sound of the river every night and stunning views. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredible team and the people of Sidemen. It’s a quiet area, no traffic, and there’s so much to explore. We highly recommend speaking with the owner, to arrange local experiences like visiting the rice terraces. Everything was trustworthy and the whole experience was simply unforgettable.

This place was so beautiful. It was exactly what we needed to end our trip to Bali! Sri and Wulan (property manager) were very responsive and incredibly accommodating. We arrived very late and they were able to stay to help us check in. The view from the open balconies were unbeatable. Highly recommend.

We have been living in Denpasar for one year, but we are originally from the U.S. where we lived in the Blue Ridge Mountains, had a garden, and spent our evenings by the campfire. We were looking for a place to get away for our son’s 16th birthday and hoped for somewhere away from traffic and surrounded by trees. We could not have dreamed that we would find a place that would ease our homesickness while also allowing us to experience the true beauty of the real Bali. If we could move into the cabin, we would in a heartbeat. The staff is incredible and they immediately made us feel like family. We have officially named the cabin our “home away from home” and hope to return when we begin to feel homesick. If you love the outdoors, gardens, trails, flowers, and campfires, you will not be disappointed.

Our stay at Komang’s place was truly unforgettable! The price is absolutely amazing for what this accommodation has to offer — a breathtaking view of the jungle and the volcano, super clean amenities, and a peaceful location in a quiet, traditional village where everyone is incredibly friendly. But the real highlight of our stay was Komang’s cooking. We’ve spent three weeks in Bali and tried many warungs and restaurants, but nothing compared to the food Komang prepared for us. He cooked everything from scratch, using mostly ingredients from his own garden, and tailored every dish exactly to our taste — we asked for spicy hot, and he delivered perfectly! Every meal was fresh, packed with flavor, and made with so much care. It was hands down the best Balinese food we had during our trip. If you’re looking for an authentic, relaxing stay with unbeatable food, Komang’s place is the perfect choice. Highly recommend!
