We stayed at this facility for a university club training camp (originally, it was recommended to approach and book through a different route, not through this app). Even though it was a last-minute reservation with no days left before the training camp, they handled it with all their heart and energy.On the same day, we received warm words and support for a successful camp, making it a memorable trip.Also, I was very interested to hear the history of the Kiyomizu residence and to be guided around the sights of the area. The futons and linens were very clean, and the kitchen and toilet were easy to use.The kitchen refrigerator and microwave were free to use, and there was also a full set of dishes.Breakfast and lunch were nutritious and delicious, and I was especially happy to have warm rice and miso soup in the morning.The room with the sunken fireplace also had Jenga and card games, and we had a great time.The bedroom was also adequately heated. It was a comfortable facility that was easy to use, and I was able to have a warm interaction with the two owners, making it a good camp that will be remembered.We also had a good time touching history and thinking about the beauty and depth of Japanese architecture.Thank you again for everything.

A place where you can slow down…the space was warm, cozy, clean and friendly . The area was small and yet vast with mountains all around and apple orchards for days. This place makes you feel alive and yet so quiet and peaceful. Thank you for the stay and all the wealth of knowledge and care for making my stay feel like home :) I will be back again :) and recommend to those who want to slow down :)

Very clean a beautiful shared spaces and the food was amazing. Just the right amount, great japanese and overseas match of flavors! Family friendly stay. Very recommend

We had a fantastic time at this place. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Since all the rooms are upstairs, I had a peaceful and quiet stay. The bathrooms were downstairs, and they all had clean shared showers. The dining area was spacious with ample tables and chairs. In the center of the room, there was a cozy fireplace that created a warm and inviting atmosphere, reminiscent of a cabin nestled in the woods, with snowfall outside. We made some great friends during our stay and will definitely be returning in the future.

It was a very comfortable space! Meals are very convenient and you can use your time meaningfully! I am also able to specify a meal time, so I can adjust the crowds, so I appreciate it. It is within walking distance to the ski slopes and there is also a hot spring within walking distance. I want to use it again! Thank you!

We stayed in a very nice room / apartment with all the comforts we needed. showers are common and very clean. possibility to order breakfast and meals on site. We were able to borrow kimono for free so we could test the onsen as a family. There's even a free shuttle in the morning that can take us to Snow Monkey Park. the staff was very welcoming and available With the children we were pleased with our stay ( too short) at Kouta's. thank you again.

We highly enjoyed our experience at Daisuke’s ryokan— yes, experience, because that was so much more than a « stay ». We were looking for a ryokan in Shibu Onsen that wasn’t going to break the bank, but would still let us enjoy the traditional feel; this hit the spot with the large tatami room & free access to the onsen baths. Book this place, you absolutely won’t regret it.

Everything about this stay was fantastic: A magical atmosphere, a quiet place with 600 years of history. Tendou is a very friendly and welcoming host that loves to show you his temple and anchestral grounds. The room was amazing, very clean, a combination of traditional and modern (new bathroom etc). The zen garden with koi pond is beautiful and we loved feeding the koi! If you book this stay you must let Tendou cook for you as our food was absolutely delicious! Thank you for an unforgettable stay!
