It was a great place to stay. As the name suggests, it has a very open window with a view of the forest, and I had a relaxing time looking out at the wonderful forest. I would definitely recommend it when you come to Oiwake.

It was a wonderful property designed in a very quiet location. I was very satisfied with the clean and wonderful interior, so I would like to stay a little longer next time. I thought the few problems were that the dishwasher and wifi were not available. Overall, it was a highly recommended stay.

Yoshi's place was beautiful and I loved the amazing onsen the most. The view of the forest was great and I enjoyed cooking while looking out the window. The walk to town is only 15 minutes but there are a few restaurants closer by as well. I was also easily able to work from there. thank you for having me.

It was my second stay. Great response as last time As soon as you ask, you'll get a quick response, and you can quickly resolve the issue, so you can rest assured In addition, the inn is a historic building with a large number of rooms, making it suitable for large groups. There were futons for the number of people (including beds), bath towels, and hand towels, and the room was kept at the right temperature, and I had a pleasant stay from that time I checked in. A lot of kitchen utensils are also provided, so you can prepare meals smoothly There is also a bath, but this time I used a hot spring facility called "Kaido-no-Yu", which is a few minutes away by car. It's nice to get into the hot springs right after skiing and snowboarding It was 5 cars, but I was able to park at the last minute I'd love to use it again Thank you.

There are many hills around, and it freezes in the winter, so it is better to have not only studless tires, but also chains.

We had a relaxing stay in a whole building.You can BBQ in the garden, there are plenty of chairs and sandals, and the kitchen is close and has plenty of cooking utensils, so it was very easy to use. It was still cold at night, but they prepared a kotatsu and I had a relaxing stay. In particular, they lent us the storehouse in the garden, and we were able to enjoy ourselves at night without worrying about the surroundings. There was an electric guitar, a bass, a classical guitar, and one amp, and the equipment was great. The hosts were also kind and kindly explained things. We would like to stay again.

LOVED THE STAY!! They allow dogs which is great and the rooms are very spacious. I love sleeping on Japanese Futons (Though people who like soft beds might not) It is in a good location for both skiing and night life. Nozawa Village is hard to get around with steep hills and narrow snowy streets but once you are checked into the stay you are set! They have a dry room but it is very small which is quite normal for Nozawa. The service was top notch and they bent over backwards to accomodate our every need. VERY MUCH RECOMMENDED!!!

We had a truly wonderful family stay at this charming villa. Nestled in the peaceful, tree-lined heart of the Old Karuizawa summer residence area, the location was simply perfect—a serene retreat with easy access to all the beauty and charm of Karuizawa. Each morning, we strolled down to Old Karuizawa Main Street for fresh pastries and coffee, soaking in the nostalgic atmosphere. With a car, the villa made an ideal base to explore not only Old and Central Karuizawa, but also nearby gems like North Karuizawa, Miyota, and Komoro. One of the highlights of our trip was a fun spring ski day in Nozawa, just a scenic 2-hour drive away. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, and handled our last-minute guest change with such flexibility that it made our trip completely stress-free. We’re already dreaming of coming back—next time in the lush summer or the colorful autumn season. Highly recommend this villa for anyone looking for a peaceful yet well-connected Karuizawa escape.

I came with 6 women.We received information in advance, so we shopped in Tsuruya, checked in, went to the dragonfly hot water, and drank in the room while cooking slowly.The kitchen is small, but the refrigerator is large.There are minimal condiments, but we brought our own used condiments and cooking utensils.The bed was large, clean and comfortable.I'd love to visit again if I get the chance. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this place was special. The house is beautifully decorated, clean, and incredibly well-maintained. Every detail has been thought of, making it feel like a home away from home. The space is spacious, cozy, and filled with thoughtful amenities, making it perfect for both relaxation and exploration. The kitchen was fully equipped, the beds were super comfortable, and the outdoor space was a great bonus, offering a peaceful retreat. What truly made this stay exceptional, however, was the host. They went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, offering excellent recommendations for local spots to visit, and even providing thoughtful touches like fresh flowers and a welcome basket. Communication was seamless, and they were always available to answer any questions without being intrusive.

The location was perfect: tranquil and private, yet close enough to explore nearby sights and restaurants. We honestly didn’t want to leave. This place is a rare find and far exceeded all our expectations.

Kenji was incredibly nice. He made sure we knew everything about the region, from hiking to amusement parks, even advising us on how and when to go from one place to another. He was very welcoming and helpful. It was way above my expectations and I'm really grateful he was the one in charge of me and my wife. He's part of what made our trip in Nikko so great. Typical Japanese flat floor with a sense of history, very spacious room, many rooms, suitable for everyone.You can grill, the kitchen is fully equipped, there are many toys for the kids, and there is a large field behind the house with a good view.The host is American and more enthusiastic.The shortage is close to the road, of course, there are not many road cars in the countryside, I don't know if the electricity load is too large, and the power is cut several times, although it was restarted in about ten seconds.

Probably one of the best AirBnB’s we ever stayed! Yoshihito-san kept in touch with me before, during and after our check in and provided the best experience when we were visiting Nagano! The place was beautiful, clean, and felt like home. This is exactly what we needed after wrapping up a stressful quarter at work. I stayed here to focus on some work on my laptop, and it was perfect — super quiet and private, with almost no one around. There weren’t any supermarkets or convenience stores nearby, which was a bit inconvenient, but it wouldn’t have been a problem if I had a car. Since it’s pretty deep in the mountains, next time I’d like to come with a car or a bike! The Wi-Fi was great too — I got 76Mbps download speed on the Fast speed test, so everything ran really smoothly. I’d definitely come back! 🫶❤️✨
