I had rented the apartment for my parents (80 and 85 yrs), I live in Maastricht myself. Everything was available what you need for a wonderful stay, everything has been thought of and well cared for. Upon arrival, pleasantly received and made acquainted. We walked, close and just across the border (many route maps available!), have been in the quarry of Valkenburg (surprising!), concert Open Air Theatre Valkenburg (recommended), day in Maastricht (Sint Pietersberg and food at Stoof) and of course enjoyed being together. All at 20 to 25 minutes drive from Elkenrade. Beautiful surroundings!

What a lovely place. Everything looks tip top, clean, great kitchen, full of comforts, a lovely bed and then the peace and quiet. Hiking directly from the cottage. Elly is a true hostess, she welcomes you and also says goodbye in person. We will definitely be back! Thank you Elly!

This Airbnb is amazing. Our hosts Rob and his partner were extremely friendly and helpful. Rob also helped us with hiking recommendations. When we arrived they had already put on some candles, and there was a very tasty cake as well! This was a first! We had a great time there. The Airbnb was clean and well equipped. And there are sheep and chicken in the backyard, which we thought was lovely. All in all we can really recommend this host and this particular listing!

Apartment is in the heart of a very beautiful area. From our cottage we went for a walk with two strollers. That was sometimes a challenge because of the fences, but if you are two, you can do it. And definitely worth all efforts as it is beautiful there! In the autumn sun, another drink done on the terrace. Supermarket is within easy reach. The most enjoyment was perhaps the lovely sparkling clean bathroom. Especially after a day of hiking. Hopefully until next year.

We had a really nice vacation. The house is a great base for trips. The garden is beautiful and the view of the hilly landscape with cows and sheep is breathtaking. Even our adolescents had a great time. The family that manages the cottages is incredibly nice, nothing was too much to delight us. In short, recommended, we hope to come back again!

A nice, cozy and authentic place on the outskirts of the cozy center of Gulpen. Ideal location and the space was very nice. Of course, it is old but clean, tidy and very comfortable to get. Cozily decorated in Christmas/winter atmosphere. Good and quick contact with the host!

We loved these days at Edmee's place. Actually, the listing lacks the listing. It is very beautiful and the courtyard invites you to sit outside and enjoy the view. The tranquility and yet if desired a visit to the village center makes it all complete. We felt very welcome without any obligations. Wonderfully cozy all. Our compliments for Edmee.
