Vacation rentals with lake access in Gulf County

Sandy Toes is a great house !! 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms were perfect for our 3 night stay. The house was well stocked with pots/pans/bowls/utensils. Everything was very clean and ready to use. The walk to the public beach area was easy for us with 2 year old and 4 month old. There is a nice sandy beach -- Windmark Beach is on the bay and the water is not as clear as gulf beach water. From the house, Port St Joe is about 5 miles to the east and Mexico Beach is about 8-10 miles to the west. The pool at Windmark is nice and big. There is plenty of parking around the pool. Definitely bring regular towels and beach towels along with salt/pepper/cooking spices. Brittany was great to work with on our booking and during our stay!!!

This was the best beach house for a family trip! The location was very peaceful and close to two entrances to the beach. We preferred to drive 6 minutes through the neighborhood to get to the Windmark entrance. It had walking trails, the village pool, a few restaurants, and a boardwalk right in the neighborhood. The area was very well kept and private, but the beach resembles more of a lake because of the bay location. Definitely check out Cape San Blas for more beach vibes! House wise, there was plenty of space for a group of 8 and we loved the dining table where we could easily fit everyone! Be mindful that there are only two bathrooms. The linens, rooms, and bathrooms were decently clean, but not completely spotless. But, the dishwasher, washer, and dryer were a huge plus! Another great bonus were the beach toys and gear in the garage. We could have rented the gear, but honestly, everything we needed was already in the garage. Overall, a great choice for Port St. Joe!

Beautiful property in a quiet area. The development has a cute little Main street area with some very nice restaurants, great walking trail, a beautiful large pool, and numerous access points to the beach. Everything was very clean and well-kept. Great location if you want to get away from the crowds but still have access to amenities.

My family enjoyed ourselves at Port St Joe. We were in a very clean, safe, private location. It was better than pictures. Perfect for the beach and great pool for the kids. I gave this house a five star review and would like to come back. The only thing I wish I had known was a rent a golf cart. Will do so next year.

We enjoyed our stay, plenty of room for our large family. We had the best time with the games, walks to the beach, night crabbing, going to the pool, and shell hunting with all the kids. It was a Mother's Day weekend we will always cherish our memories. The kids loved playing in the sand around the large lot. We will be back and hope to stay longer next time. Everyone had a blast. Thank you for sharing this beautiful house.
