Family-friendly vacation rentals in Guia

A really lovely villa, photos don’t really do it justice. It’s very spacious and there was plenty of room for our group, 6 adults and 3 young children. The pool and play area were very popular. Lisa and David were great hosts. They provided everything we needed and more and were very good with communication and info. Some lovely personal touches for our stay left in the villa too which were much appreciated. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this villa and hope to return again sometime.

Excellent location.👌 Possibility to leave the car and do a lot on foot. The hike along the coast to reach the pretty little fishing village of Burgau is a beautiful reward ♥️ (Beach restaurant is the best). Breathtaking view of the sea and the pretty little town from the apartment with private access by elevator😁! The restaurants are very good too with plenty of choice!! On the other hand, the accommodation would be more than 5* if a refresh was done (jacuzzi at the end of its life, pergola in need of renovation as well as the blinds, etc.). Vladimir is an excellent host. Perfect welcome, very human and a lot of kindness. The apartment is located in a quiet oasis in portimao. There is a swimming pool access. For children, it's great. The rooms are fine and the bedding was fine. It takes the car to visit the Algarve. Vladimir's recommendations for restaurants and activities were really appreciated.

Our stay was wonderful, the townhouse is beautiful and in a very peaceful spot, yet so close to town! The hot tub was great in the evenings. It was super clean and has beautiful Portuguese charm. The space is large and private, it is nice to park your car right at the door to bring luggage in. Communication and recommendations were good. We had a lovely stay in August 2024. The villa is stylishly decorated and incredibly roomy, even bigger than we expected, with wonderful views over a hill to the sea from the living area and top bedrooms/hot tub. Although it is in an area of other villas, it felt private and very quiet and peaceful. Beds were very comfy and bedrooms had aircon which was unobtrusive but effective. We opted to heat the pool, which wasn't strictly necessary but we were glad we did as it made it very comfortable. The area is beautiful and much less busy than the Algarve further east. There is a very nice beach and restaurant 'As Cabanas' within walking distance (about 10/15 minutes) for lunch or drinks. Straight across the road is a short track to the coastal path where you can walk to Salema and Burgau (Burgau under and hour), both small and pretty with beaches and nice places to eat. We would definitely return as we would like to explore this area more.

We were positively surprised by the appartment. It looked even better than ok the photos. The view was spectacular and location is ideal. Communication was also really good and Maria sent us useful recommendations. Would definitely visit again!

A Perfect Family Getaway in Lagos! We recently spent a week at this beautiful villa in Lagos with our family, and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how spacious and immaculately clean the property was. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax, whether inside the villa or out by the pool. The highlight for us was definitely the pool area—it offered a stunning view that made every morning coffee and evening swim feel like a luxury experience. The outdoor space was peaceful and well-maintained, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the sunshine. Ursula, our host, was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout our stay, which made everything smooth and enjoyable. Her warm hospitality really added to the experience. The location was great too—quiet and private, yet just a short drive from the beaches and town centre. We felt completely at home and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend for families

I cannot thank Carmen enough from booking to arriving! We were a group for a hen party and Carmen’s could not have helped more by sending us recommendations for restaurants and also booking taxis. The villa was great and really secure with plenty of room. The pool was great fun and there are plenty of extras that Carmen can sort! If you are looking this the place to book!! Don’t look anywhere else!! Thank you Carmen for everything and I know we will be back!

The house to disengage, in simplicity, refreshing. It is very well equipped with dishes, linens, we have the impression of arriving at friends who have left everything available. The big plus is this beautiful beach 2 steps away . It just went too fast

Had a great 2 night stay at Isabel’s! Perfect location within walking distance of all restaurants in Old Town and within 5 minutes of the beach. Would recommend to any couples staying in Albufeira.

Rosa’s place was great and exactly as described. Very short distance to beach and town (~15 min). She had recommendations which we appreciated. Check-in was easy. The place was as described and Rosa was super communicative. We encountered some issues after checkin and Rosa handled them immediately, which was so appreciated!! The place was super clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for an amazing stay, Rosa!

Adriana was one of the bests hosts I’ve had of my 10 years using Airbnb! She’s very responsive, worked insanely quickly to fix some minor issues and even checked in on me after the issues were resolved. I’d highly recommend this place, it’s quiet, safe, has amazing views and the proximity to the beach and shops is unreal! Can’t say enough amazing things about it, it’s the perfect location for a getaway.

We had booked it for my 70th with all our family. Unfortunately my husband too ill and wasn’t allowed to fly. The rest of the family and grandchildren had the best time. The villa was as it was in the pictures, spacious and clean. The pool was spotless as the pool cleaner came to keep it maintained. It’s the first time my family had been to Portugal and they just loved it and would recommend anyone booking this villa would be very happy. They are due back today and the feedback from them has been very good. Infact we might just book this for next year. Steve and Natalie have been amazing hosts. We all would Definitely Highly Recommend this Villa and Location. 5 Star ⭐ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a fantastic stay at this house! From the outside, the property looks beautiful, and the swimming pool is very inviting. While you can tell in some places that the house and pool are a bit older, everything works perfectly. The kitchen and all bathrooms have been completely renovated and are really nice. Some of the furniture is a little outdated, but we spent most of our time outside anyway. The location is perfect — close to a small village with an Aldi (including a fresh bakery for daily bread), and a short drive to stunning beaches and bays, all with excellent restaurants and incredibly friendly staff. A car is definitely needed to get around. The house also has a play garage with various game tables; the pool table was a huge hit with our kids, even if the garage smells a bit damp. The rooms are spacious, the area is wonderfully quiet, and we all had great nights of sleep. Overall, we had a great week and would definitely recommend this house!

Very large villa set in a very private setting. Great for a family holiday with private pool and massive outdoor spaces. Bedrooms were large and had plenty of storage. Kitchen was very well equipped, although a number of items are now quite dated and would benefit from updating. Very quiet and peaceful setting - great if you want to get away from it all! But also 7-10 min drive to beach and local town/shops. Bella was a kind and responsive host. She replaced the toaster on the same day we told her it wasn’t working. A fantastic place. The only criticism i have is that the upstairs bedroom area (with the two single beds) smelled very musty. We stayed in another AirBnB in Lisbon and it had the same issue so I wonder if high humidity levels are a factor. There were air fresheners placed around but if you have a sensitive nose then this would be a problem for you.

The lovingly renovated house is perfect for anyone who loves nature and the garden, is looking for peace and relaxation and yet wants to get to know the Algarve. Communication with Jan is quick and straightforward - we had the best time with him during our vacation.

We had an amazing stay here as an extended family of grandparents and our two children, 1 and 3. The villa was really spacious and the kitchen was big and really well equipped, making eating in the villa really easy. We really appreciated the pushchair, games and pool floats. We’d definitely recommend this villa!

we loved everything. from the residence to the house. it's a little gem. the house is well organized with comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and beautiful balconies especially one where we had lunch and dinner. all in a quiet and peaceful setting. perfect for children. the sea is very close and within walking distance, 4 swimming pools. in short, what more do you want? carlota was helpful and very kind.
