Vacation rentals with lake access in Guernsey County

The house was adorable with so many comfy furniture pieces to lounge on in front of the fire. The kitchen is incredibly spacious and well stocked. The area is very peaceful and quiet. We would definitely come back again!

We attended an event at Burr Oak Lodge, and Steven’s place was a beautiful 12 minute drive to the lodge. We had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, cute, and super inviting. Everything was exactly as described, and it felt like a cozy home away from home. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and charming spot. The host went the extra mile by providing a case of drinking water, new plush towels and pillows, and a binder that included information about the home as well as things to enjoy in the area. We already want to go back to enjoy the lake and the Buckeye trail!

I chose this property to take my 83 year old father on a fishing getaway on a long Memorial Day weekend. It was a great stay! Even with recent heavy rains, we experienced some nice fish catches. We enjoyed the outside patio for grilling and brought our own set of corn hole boards. We enjoyed our evenings catching up on some movies and Memorial Day tributes to our Veterans. The wifi, internet, and TV program were excellent. The owner responded quickly to our questions and very accommodating for our stay. We would definitely stay again! Thank you!!

I definitely needed a break from every day life. This was the place. Was able to enjoy the covered porch even when the sun wasn’t out. Was able to observe nature at its finest! Will definitely be staying again!

Plenty of room for our family!! Loved we could relax and had room for kids to have their own space. Loved the decor and how clean the house was! Beautiful home! Right down the road from our family so it was perfect! Will be staying here again.

Marissa's cabin was exactly as promised! This was are 4th year of coming to Leesville Lake to fish. The fishing this year was not the best and I'm pretty sure the drought is over, can't control the weather. Staying at the cabin was a total pleasure, the enclosed porch area is very comfortable and a great place to spend a rainy day! We were able to enjoy a outside fire on our first night, and totally enjoy the night time calming sounds of the lake, the owl every evening was a plus. When we were unable to spend our evening outside around the fire ring the fireplace in the living room was a great replacement, there is nothing like a fire and watching a movie to relax. It was very nice not having TV and all the political commercials. If you are looking for a beautiful place to get away and relax this is the place.

Cozy Cottage is an utterly unique farmhouse architecturally beautifully designed and set on a unique Ohio cattle farm. The family in combination with our host Liz's sophisticated eye created magic. Hand made local antique ceramics, linens, a stocked breakfast supply on request in the smeg fridge, beautiful bedding plus modern and antique comfortable furniture perfectly and effortlessly make this a truly a special Airbnb. The cottage is a quick drive to Wheeling which has a great restaurant, Good Mansions Wines was our go to for gourmet food plus the cottage is a 20min drive to Dysart Woods a first growth Appalachian forest: this is my personal favourite area. We saw many birds around our cottage, a local groundhog, wild deer, hawks and fed the nearby delightful horses carrots !. Nearby you can walk to the lake and see the beavers. I highly recommend staying at the Cozy Cottage I had a wonderful work trip here. Thank you Liz & family I'd adore to return !

My family and I stayed at Megan’s place for Memorial Day weekend and to attend my grandson’s high school graduation. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep, we cooked breakfast in the kitchen and grilled steaks on the gas grill. We all enjoyed sitting around the fire pit and my younger grandson really enjoyed fishing in the River.

The lake house and the view was breathtaking. The pictures and descriptions of the property were exactly as depicted. From the moment we arrived, our host Stephen could not have been more accommodating. Stephen ensured our every need was met and was happy to assist us. He is truly the most genuine host we have ever stayed with. We will definitely return to Stephen’s little slice of heaven for another relaxing vacation. Lori and Jim from Pittsburgh PA.

Perfect place to rest after exploring and hiking in Belmont County. Lauren was immediately responsive to an issue with the TV and made great hiking recommendations! The cabin was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the front porch was a lovely place for coffee and the sunrise. Highly recommend!

We were in the area for a wedding and John’s place was the perfect place to relax. It’s charming and cozy and we loved being able to get out on the water. Leesville Lake really is a hidden gem. It’s the perfect spot for a weekend getaway.

We had a great time at our stay here! We did not realize there was a hot tub on the property that was not including in the listing however everything about this place was great! We loved the open space and enjoyed the surroundings and sleeping arrangements. Very clean and a great place to stay.
