Apartment vacation rentals in Guardalavaca

Yuliannis’ Airbnb was perfect. It’s located near all of many tourist attractions in holguin, Cuba. I liked that for an inexpensive price she prepared delicious meals for me. In the Airbnb she had snacks and beverages in the refrigerator. There is a pool on the third floor that looks well maintained even though I didn’t use it. Her son Esteban is fluent in English so if you’re a client who only speaks English Esteban is very helpful. The view of holguin from the roof is amazing. The Airbnb has a balcony which directly looks down on the street. My family, friends and my soon to Cuban wife Mariannis had many good things to say about Yuliannis and her wonderful Airbnb. The air conditioning was very effective in the sweltering tropical heat of Cuba. Yuliannis provided a fan to extenuate the cooling affect of the air conditioner. The only problem that I had with the Airbnb was the blackouts but that’s not Yuliannis’ fault but the incompetence of the Communist Party of Cuba governance.

Liuva's apartment is very safe, clean, well located in Guadarlavaca, 30 seconds from the good restaurant La fonda de pepe, and other outlets, 13 minutes from the beautiful beach, everything works very well, hot water, refrigerator and the mattresses are very comfortable. There are no mosquitoes in this apartment. Thanks to Yanexi who did a beautiful cleaning, very kind and caring. I highly recommend this place.

Ana Rosa's house is located north of the city center, very close to the road to Gibara, the Taxi Colectivo stop to Gibara, for trips with luggage by bike taxi to the center or to the other stops. The first floor there is a self-contained apartment with kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom and terrace. On the second floor there are two separate rooms for rent with two shared terraces. The decor is unusual. Modern, chic, light and airy, the beds and linens are a treat. There is wifi and lamps for the power outages. Ana is a lovely, flexible host. She can help with a lot of things. Just talk to them. Breakfast is also possible by arrangement. I've been driving through Cuba for almost a year, Ana's rooms are among the best I've been able to experience so far.

Excellent welcome, the room was spotless and clean, Alvaro and Yadira very welcoming, I always enjoyed the mango juice at lunch, nice pool to relax and unwind. In summary, an excellent stay at Villa Tropical.

I actually stay in Santiago during my stay in Cuba, but having to pay $160 USD for a taxi each way to Holguín airport, it made much more sense to stay in Holguín for a couple of days and take the Viazul bus for only 13 Euros each way. Everyone from the cleaning staff to Saili, the manager, were very cheerful and helpful. The apartment was fantastic in all aspects. The pool is cleaned daily, but as I was there in January during the cold spell, so I didn't go in. I was truly lucky to find such a gem. I will definitely be staying there every time I return to Cuba! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Jose’s place was great! His family and him were so sweet and attentive to my husband and I. The place was pretty modern compared to most houses in Holguin, very spacious for a couple and super clean. The kitchen had mostly everything we needed to cook up something quick and anything we needed that we communicated to Jose, he got it! The small pool was nice after a long day of walking around Holguin, definitely would stay here again.

When I messaged Yasmel with my ETA, he indicated that the property was not available. He did have an alternative in the building next door with family. That was great. I had an entire apartment with all the amenities to myself. Also, breakfast was included. The location is top, close to the beach. Yasmel only has an American phone number so my taxi couldn't call what the exact location was. Still found with some questions around.

The home was very cozy and lacked nothing and a high standard compared to other rentals on Holguin. I would say you won't find a better place for you. I have done several guest houses and have been traveling a lot to this area for years and in my opinion it was the best. From the bed linen to the bath towels going to the kitchen, the condition was impeccable. Ana is a host, very kind and welcoming. Always available to help and who accompanies people. The accommodation is a 10 minute walk to the city center. 100 m away you will always find a byci-taxi which with a few pedals takes you in 2 minutes to the city center and for little money. The wifi was lacking for technical reasons when I arrived, it was the only downside, but it wasn't a big problem. I would go back to this home in April, I'll be back in Holguin.
