The apartment is in the attic, 3rd floor, no elevator, wide staircase, approx. 70 square meters. There are different room heights. The kitchen and shower only have a room height of 195 cm. The bedroom and living room are clad in wood up to under the roof gable. Room height over 3.00 m. This apartment has a lot of charm. The kitchen is equipped with everything and integrated into the living room. A balcony extends over the bedroom and living room. This unique place has a style all its own!

Enjoy your quiet 40 sqm apartment just 200 meters from the outdoor pool. Parking on the premises. In the village, all the necessities of daily use are available. The apartment is, in every season, an ideal starting point for cycling, mountain, skiing and hiking tours, as well as excursions to Salzburg, Berchtesgaden, Salzkammergut or the surrounding region. There is a lockable storage room, for example, for e-bikes or skis. A baby crib and high chair for small guests is also available.

Stylish country house in a quiet location with mountain views

Our newly renovated house is located in an absolutely quiet location directly at the Bayerisch Gmain hiking centre. From here you can go on numerous hikes and bike tours of different lengths and durations from the front door. In 5 minutes walking distance you will find the Bayerisch Gmain train station, a children's playground and a supermarket. Within a 2-30 km radius there are, among others: Bad Reichenhall, Salzburg, the Königssee, the Chiemsee, Berchtesgaden, several thermal baths.

Our apartment is decorated with reclaimed wood, stone, and high-quality materials in the Alpine style. Most of the furniture is beautiful individual pieces. We racked our brains about how to create the greatest possible feeling of well-being. Coming in and feeling good while enjoying the great views of the Predigtstuhl was the goal. In the apartment building there is a large panoramic pool and a measly fitness area.😂 The house has a great location and very good accessibility.

Our stay at Werner & Maria's place was absolutely wonderful! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Werner and Maria were a fantastic host, very responsive, helpful and giving us tips to explore the area. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Salzburg or/and Berchtesgaden area.

The accommodation is great for a short break on the German-Austrian border. Interesting cities, such as Salzburg or Berchtesgaden, can be reached relatively quickly by public transport (''free'' through the guest card). Also a small selection of beautiful hiking trails within walking distance.

The apartment is in great condition. Kitchen and bathroom are very modern and fully equipped. 2 balconies with beautiful views. Living room and bedroom are cozy and comfortable. In general, the apartment is in very good condition and also suitable for longer stays. Astrid is very polite and hospitable, check-in and check-out were straightforward. The location is great for drivers. All excursion destinations (thermal baths, Salzburg, Hellbrunn Palace and mountains) in the immediate vicinity can be reached in 30 minutes. On-site parking is available. Bakers and restaurants are within walking distance, supermarkets are 10 minutes' drive. All in all a very nice vacation in a very nice apartment.

Lovely cozy place in a beautiful valley only 30 mins from Salzburg or Berchtesgaden. Everything was clean and all the necessities were there. The apartment was actually bigger than we expected and the bed in the double room was King size. We had a great stay!

The apartment was perfectly located in the city center and very clean. I found the parking lot right in front of the apartment very convenient. Very cozy apartment for a couple and two children. I can recommend the apartment for people who stay right in the city center and still want access to the beautiful nature of the area, the hosts were very helpful. We will be happy to come back when we are in the area.
