We stayed here for two nights with four people. The surroundings are magnificent. No living sound to be heard apart from those of nature! The sky full of stars at night was just breathtaking. We enjoyed each other’s company, definitely the non-wifi part, the tub, the friendliness of the locals, the open events in town (the Braai!). We definitely want to come here again if we have the opportunity!

It’s a brilliant and peaceful place on the river. The boathouse is a great place to come with a group of friends or family. You can swim in the river or do a little bit of canoeing, which is really nice for it to be right on your doorstep. Overall, a highly recommended place where I hope to come again.

The pictures dont do the house justice, because you just cant feel the homely atmosphere you get when you walk in and stay there. We had the most amazing time at the house, and everything we needed was available from food, to entertainment, to a camp cot! An absolute gem and we will be back next year

We had a wonderful 2-days-stay in Julia's house. The place was awesome. In front of the sand dunes and the beach. The house was just perfect. An holidays house everybody can dream of. Very cosy, well furnished and decorated. We wish we could have stayed longer as we had a very pleasant and peaceful time here. It is also a good spot for kitesurfing. I recommand this house ++++++ 👍😊

Belinda is a great host. Stoepsit is exactly what we were looking for. Being away from the hustle and bustle of suburban and city life, surrounded by an amazing view and peaceful environment was food for the soul. There are a few reviews that mentioned requiring a 4x4. Getting there was quite comfortable in our Corolla Cross.

Geeignet für jemanden der Ruhe und Erholung sucht. Witsand hat einen traumhaften Strand, der in unmittelbarer fußläufiger Nähe ist. Der Gastgeber, Anton, war äußerst aufmerksam. Er hat uns Restaurants genannt und ein Menü mit leckerem Back-Fisch nebst selbst eingelegten Oliven und roter Beete bereitet. Wir haben uns bei ihm sehr wohl gefühlt.

Wir waren leider nur für eine Übernachtung in Natalie`s Cottage, das wir aber sehr empfehlen können. Liebevoll eingerichtet, große Räume, gute Ausstattung, tolle Terrasse mit schönem Garten, Parkplatz auf abgeschlossenem Gelände. Viele Vögel zu beobachten. Wir würden äußerst freundlich empfangen, sowohl von Natalie als auch von ihrem Team. Frische Blumen, frisches Brot, Obst und Kuchen wurden zur Verfügung gestellt. Es war einfach toll. Vielen lieben Dank an Natalie.

Comfortable, clean and spacious accommodation. Great location with easy access to the beach where there is also a good restaurant. The only comment I would make is that both the apartment and garden would profit from a bit more colour as greys rather dominate. Marianna is a very friendly, attentive and kind host. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and the location is hard to beat.

The hosts’ attention to detail made all the difference—from thoughtful touches around the home to the seamless communication that made us feel truly special. The highlight of our stay was the boat ride on the river, where we were treated to breathtaking scenery that made the experience unforgettable. This home is perfect for a large family, offering both comfort and charm in every corner. The care and effort put into every aspect of this stay were the cherry on top. Highly recommend!

We rented Zenji for our bridal party to stay in for our wedding weekend in Stilbaai & had the best stay ever! The most beautiful home, fully equipped with everything you need and more, modern yet cozy and sooooo zen, the views in the back garden was definitely a highlight. The hosts were so friendly and extremely accommodating, allowing us early check in and late check out so that we could work around our venue setup and break down time for the wedding ~ even left us a little bottle of champagne! It's quite rare to stay in someone else's home and feel so at home & at ease in an unfamiliar space. Staying at house Zenji definitely added to the magic of our wedding weekend and we are so grateful for it! 15/10 definitely would stay again :)
