We were very lucky to spend a week away in Amaya's charming River Lodge located just outside the town of Kilbride and close to the beautiful Wicklow Mountains National Park. The cottage itself is well equipped, stylishly furnished and includes an incredibly comfortable bathroom. The cottage also provides access to a lovely garden and a small river providing you with everything you need to enjoy a lovely stay. Amaya is a very kind host, providing personal recommendations and always being available in case of any needs. We highly recommend this accomodation to anyone looking for comfort and tranquility while exploring the beautiful surroundings of the Wicklow Mountains.

You won't be disappointed! t This was the last night of our long stay in Ireland and we are so glad with stayed with Riaan & Cathy. Cathy was so friendly and welcoming and her place was luxurious for us. Also, the most comfortable bed we slept on during our 2.5 week trip. Thank you!

Staying here was like stepping into a peaceful, magical retreat. The cozy wood-burning fire made the space feel so welcoming and serene, and the private sauna was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. Waking up to views of rolling fields filled with sheep and the surrounding mountains was pure bliss. Every detail of the stay felt thoughtful and relaxing—it truly felt like a little sanctuary away from the world. I left feeling refreshed, grounded, and already dreaming of coming back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a tranquil escape in nature.

The place was cozy and comfortable. It was also super convenient to the motorway and close by to shops, which made getting around really easy. Neighbourhood was quiet and walking parks nearby. Dee and Leo are great hosts. Thank you

Place was spotless. very private and secluded even though the main house is beside the cottage. All instructions are very clear so no need to contact host with any questions.

If I could give Valerie 6 stars I would! Valerie and Derrick have paid attention to every little detail to make this small space workable and comfortable. The most important thing in staying somewhere is a comfy bed and good shower this home has both. We really appreciated the supplies that Valerie provided and we had everything we needed plus more. The little extra touches like umbrellas, fruit and an Easter egg (we stayed over Easter) and the use of her washing machine made our stay that little bit more enjoyable. It is a 30-40 minute bus trip into Dublin €2.60 and the village of Clondalkin has pubs and shops a short walk away. If you don’t want the noise of the city this is a fantastic place to stay. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you to Valerie and Derrick for being the perfect hosts.

A very warm welcome from Sharon. I had no problem in communicating with Sharon right from the point of when I was interested in the accommodation. She even answered my questions before I fully booked and also let us arrive earlier (our flight was due in early). She met us outside the accommodation and took us to where we were staying. I always go self catering so everything was there what I needed. Nothing was too much trouble for Sharon and if ever I needed to ask any questions, she would always get back to me straight away. Thanks for everything Sharon - if ever back in Ireland, will surely book again.

We absolutely enjoyed Brenda’s place! The views were beautiful and the sheep were so cute! Place was squeaky clean and host was friendly and responsive. Definitely worth it!

It was just so pleasant to walk in to a property and find it just as described. Everything was spotlessly clean and every detail had been carefully and lovingly thought of. Cutlery and all kitchen equipment looked brand new. There was also a very generous welcome pack left for us. The whole family were very friendly and never seemed to be put out by the fact we needed to go through their kitchen to access the property.
