We had a relaxing weekend and we would recommend this house. It’s very clean. It’s a nice and quiet area.

This is my second time staying here. The house is clean, they provide just about everything you need but the food. Todd and Paula are friendly and informative. Great location on the lake! The pool and hot tub are clean and well taken care of. I would recommend bringing a couple pool toys/floats. Overall, it is a great place to stay.

I can only imagine that where this house is located is like heaven. The best way to start the day was with stunning sunrise over the lake. The house is spectacular and the area is amazing. We stayed here for a golf tournament and were delighted to see that backyard was the 9th tee box of Great Water. We had some fantastic meals and all the locals were kind and friendly. Spent a day in Greensboro exploring all the amazing antique shops and lunch at the market there which was to die for, and the owner and her daughter were a delight. The owner of the house was fantastic, easy to work with and checked in on us frequently. Highly recommend!!!

The host was always quick to respond. The house was very spacious and had plenty of fun stuff besides the lake for entertaining and was very close to the boat ramp to load and unload the boat to tie to the dock for the weekend. We will definitely be booking this house again in the future

We had a great stay. Perfect location off the beaten path but still close to all that Athens had to offer. Perfect little get away for our family of four and the pup to catch a game at Sanford Stadium.

This cabin is beautiful and has a fantastic view of the lake. It is just the right size for four to six people. It was clean and comfortable. Prepare to drive a bit, as it is about 45 minutes to Milledgeville, but the drive is easy. I would definitely like to visit again soon.

Perfect location, the house is beautiful and the lake allows for a good time kayaking. The house itself was spacious, and incredibly well-equipped with everything we could possibly need. The views of the lake were absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset. Definitely will be coming back and recommend for anyone looking for a memorable retreat.

We stayed for a few days while we were visiting our son in college. Gorgeous spot on the lake! Private lot and peaceful. We rented a boat for the day which we enjoyed.

Robyn’s place was the perfect writer’s getaway! The stillness of the home, the friendly and safe neighborhood, and the view of the sunset each evening were an author’s dream! My dog and I had a fantastic time with lots of rest and relaxation! Will definitely be going back!

We absolutely had a lovely stay for a few months. The best hosts and their concern for us during the cold snap we had was very appreciated. They sent us firewood and burning. Logs and we enjoyed coffee by the fire for several mornings. We would definitely go back! Thank you so much for everything! Jackie and Syl.

This house was great and exactly as pictured (it was actually more spacious than it appears in pictures). The complex is great and has several golf courses and good restaurants. It was very secluded and quiet. We went to the Masters and it was about an hour twenty from Augusta National (we got there early to beat the traffic). I think if you’re going to Masters one day but want to be closer to Atlanta and half lots of golf options, this was a great location.

The guest house was a wonderful place to stay for families Cindy thought of everything you could need for amenities and it was a perfect location for enjoying Durham Motorcycle Park and some antiquing in Greensboro! Plus the quiet of the surrounding acreage made for a nice relaxing getaway. Thank you for your hospitality and sharing your guest house!

We really enjoyed our visit. We were able to enjoy the beautiful view of the lake and relax on the porch. The host was very attentive during our stay. If we ever want to get away to the lake again we would definitely book again.

My stay was very enjoyable and just what I was looking for, a quiet and peaceful getaway. It was comfortable and clean with nice comfy spaces to read and relax. Anna provided all the checkin/out information in a timely manner and the suggestions for “things to do” were helpful. I hope to come back this summer!

Great place in a quiet neighborhood- very convenient for a weekend stay visiting UGA. Close to both campus and downtown Athens. Home was clean, charming and beds were very comfortable

We had a wonderful stay! The house was absolutely beautiful, and clean. Lindsey was incredibly accommodating, especially since we were traveling from out of town with an unknown ETA. She was always responsive and so thoughtful throughout our stay. We can't wait to come back and enjoy this lovely place again!

Had a great stay in Sparta! Brandon’s place was perfect for our needs as my in-laws live up the road and we just needed some space for our family for downtime. The house was accurately described and stocked with necessities. The view of the water was great and we enjoyed sitting on the back deck, the dock and my husband loved the hammock. Our 2 year old had a blast exploring the property. We asked if Brandon had a pak-n-play and were blown away that they were so kind to buy one for us and future guests to use, it made our travel so much easier! Great stay and I’m sure we will be back :)
