Serene 2 BR, 1.5 Bath Home-Greenbrier River Valley

NancyRating, 5 stars22 months ago
We have stayed in lots of people's homes all over the world and we think Shane was the MOST responsive and caring host we've had! His place is super cute with lots of personal touches and tons of personality! Just as the pictures portray it and super clean. He left us gifts and a really sweet note as well! We loved his fire pit at night, sad we were too busy and scheduled with events to use the hot tub! I accidentally left my prescription glasses there and he mailed them to me the same day and wouldn't take a payment for the cost! He also has kayaks, and the beautiful Greenbrier River is just down the street as well as the cute little town of Alderson. We highly recommend Shane's sweet home.

House Atreides

KellyRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We loved the location and proximity to what we wanted to explore. The cabin itself is great! Very secluded and well cared for. The deck is especially nice, but it rained nearly the entire time we were there, so not a lot of coverage. We loved the fire pit! The house was nice and as described, however, it's very very noisy, which we did read in reviews after the fact. If you're looking for a quiet place to nap, sleep, etc. vs a base camp for hiking and entertaining, it's a challenge. Although the cabin is adorable, it's very very noisy / creaky. You hear every little movement, everywhere. We didn't use the bunk house. The cabin stayed cool and we had plenty of hot water (3 of us) at all times. They also supply plenty of linens & towels which is very nice. Our favorite thing was the deck. Very large and nice to hang out. The cabin is also very quiet (outside) with lots of nature sounds and beautiful magnolia trees all around. The hosts are both great and helpful.

Large House at Summersville Lake

JalenaRating, 5 stars8 months ago
This house looks even better in person than it does in the pictures! I was pleasantly surprised at how the house was updated and refreshed. And even more spacious than I had anticipated. The surrounding area was beautiful, secluded, and peaceful, yet close enough to town that we were still able to receive a Walmart grocery order there. We appreciated having a washer and dryer, and the house had an ample amount of towels. A great location if you're coming to the New River Gorge region.

Jackson river retreat - Bailey Wick farm

RichardRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Bobby’s place is an incredible find right on the Jackson River! We were in the area for a family reunion holiday weekend and the cabin was just what we needed for a home away from home. The area is quiet, absolutely beautiful and the cabin was very clean, had a very comfortable living room, and the beds were super comfortable. Thank you Bobby!

Serene Cabin between Fayetteville& Summerville WV

LisaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The cabin was beautiful, just as described and very neat and clean. We had two adults and four teens and it was plenty of space. The kitchen is fully stocked and had everything we needed. Nice loft area with TV, games and a nice sectional sofa. We used the fire pit and the hot tub was great. Very private and quiet area. Trish was fantastic to work with and immediately responded when I had any questions. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

This place is an absolute gem! I wish I worked my downtime into my itinerary because I did not want to leave this place! The bed was super comfortable, the stream out back was serene, the cabin was so cute and very private! Kim and her husband were so accommodating and very sweet. I can’t wait to come back!

Wild & Wonderful Camp Chestnut (River Cabin)

SarahRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This place is a hidden gem! This off the beaten path riverfront treehouse-feeling cabin has every modern amenity you could need. The beds were extremely comfortable, linens and towels soft and cozy, and the kitchen very well stocked. The kids room and loft area is a real treasure and made the littles feel right at home. The decor is just right and blends well with all of the natural light and natural scenery that is present from every window. Dana was extremely responsive to questions and all of the check in and out instructions were clearly communicated. Highly recommend!
