Unique, romantic luxury countryside retreat

Beautifully furnished, romantic and spacious ancient dovecote in a gorgeous peaceful countryside setting, the thick stone walls make it warm and cosy in winter, cool in summer as well as quiet and private. Private heated swimming pool available in summer. Upstairs there is a luxurious super kingsize bed, a rolltop bath, a huge velvet sofa and a 50" TV and downstairs is a shower room, kitchen and large dining area. Lovely walks from the door and close to Salisbury, Longleat, Stonehenge and Bath

Beautiful Countryside Home. A gorgeous place to stay with family & friends. A beautifully proportioned and sunny 4 bedroom house with a stylish design. It has a stunning entrance hall, huge open plan kitchen and a utility room. Two bedrooms have their own ensuite. There is fantastic walking around, lovely pubs and great places nearby to visit including Salisbury, Stonehenge, Longleat Safari park, many historical sites and beaches within the hour. Down a little no through lane this self contained annexe to our house is on the Monarch's Way in a quiet, rural position just 3 miles from the cathedral city of Salisbury. The River Bourne runs close by. The ground floor annexe has a modern but peaceful bedroom with en-suite shower, separate kitchen/living area with double doors on to the patio & a sitting room with sofa bed. Newly redecorated for 2025! From free off street parking at the front of our house the Annexe is accessed by a gate and passageway, discreetly nestled in our pretty garden. It is a perfect getaway for up to 4 guests. It has an open plan lounge with well equipped kitchen area, double bedroom plus a shower room/toilet. Salisbury City Centre is a 30 min walk or quick drive and has regular buses. Great Base for Stonehenge, Salisbury Cathedral, Old Sarum, Longleat and the New Forest.

Stayed for one night. Didn't get to meet Thomas or Jamilly, but the house was left in a clean state. The bathroom, bedroom and kitchen were all clean, and I was given clear instructions for the locations of everything in the house that I needed. The house is about a 30 minute walk from Salisbury city centre. Would happily stay again!

such a welcoming place to stay. I felt at home straight away and Emma and Matthew really relaxed and easy so added to my visit. I'd definitely stay again . bus to town a step away but a level walk. thank you both.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Chloe is a great host and was really responsive to any questions we had, and also had some good local recommendations. The location is great, and has a lovely little shop and a great pub right by it. There are really nice countryside walks in the area, and it's also easy to get to Salisbury and all sorts of other places. The accommodation itself was really clean, comfortable, quiet and peaceful. We also got to meet the cat and one of the dogs! We would definitely stay again.

We loved staying at Samatha's place. She personally welcomed us with open arms and guided us through her house and showed us our rooms. Samantha is super communicative and gave us many tips for the area, restaurants and Stonehenge. We also followed your recommendations and did not regret it. Unfortunately, the Heritage Centre was not open, we would have liked to see it. The bathroom and bedroom were clean and we felt very comfortable.
