Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Grayson County

Great little place out of the main traffic flows. It was central to everywhere we needed to go. It’s a quaint little place it’s some adorable mini donkeys.

I will definitely come back to the barrel house, very beautiful and peaceful place. If you’re looking for a nice peaceful weekend getaway, the barrel house is the right place for you.

This place was awesome! One of my favorite stays. It was super family friendly and well stocked for all the things little ones need. The fenced in front yard was a favorite for my girls. The patio is great for morning coffee and nighttime stargazing. And the lake is a very short walk away. We definitely will stay here again.

Let me tell yall, the pictures in this listing does not do this place justice with how beautiful and peaceful this stay way. We were shocked when we pulled into the neighborhood and have 100x better time than we expected. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in this area!

great place for a family gathering

Great place to go relax snd reconnect with nature and your significant other. Watching the sunrise listening to all the birds drinking coffee sitting on the porch looking out at the water… priceless! Had several great movies and board games if you wanted. Kitchen and fridge were clean and well organized.

Our family’s stay at Lilac House was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we drove onto the secluded property to the minute we walked into the warm and inviting home, we knew we were in a special place. Rosemary’s home was exceptionally clean and stocked with games, a tv ready for your streaming services, beautiful handmade quilts throughout, heated toilet seats with bidets, a Blackstone to cook your meals, a washer and dryer with detergent to use, and a fantastic screened in porch to enjoy your beautiful surroundings. She thought of everything, and we needed nothing to prepare our family meals in her well stocked and well equipped kitchen. Cabinets throughout were labeled and easy to navigate. Rosemary was incredibly responsive and patient answering all of our countless questions. She was wonderful to work with. Our family of 5 plus our two dogs enjoyed a memorable stay at the Lilac House. We highly recommend Rosemary’s Lilac House and would unequivocally stay there again.

This was a great little house in the woods. We were able to be close to my mom who lives in Whitewright as we were dealing with a death in our family and that was very important. I would love to go back when the trees are green and we could enjoy the pool and gorgeous patio area at the “clubhouse”. I would highly recommend this place.
