Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Grayson County

Had a belated Christmas gathering of family members that we were unable to connect with during the holidays. This was a great place that was basically equal distance for all parties. We all enjoyed ourselves and had a great time.

I stayed with my family at the cabin for a short getaway to Mammoth Cave. The house was clean, well furnished, and had plenty of room for my family of 5. My teenaged daughters especially loved the coffee options, with the different K-cup flavors, syrups, creamers to experiment with.

This was a great place! Better than the pictures. We would stay here again. We are a family of 5 and visited in November. The 2nd bedroom was a great space for my teenagers. The game room was very fun at night after our day. Plenty of options for cooking appliances- grill, griddle, air fryer, crock pot, oven, or microwave. Loved that the kitchen table had seating up to 8 (I won’t rent if we can’t have dinner together at the same table). I took advantage of a book and puzzle to do. If visiting during colder months, bring slippers. It’s concrete in the game room and sub-floor, so it felt cooler. I would plan on a grocery store prior to checking in. It’s very rural and takes time to get to- especially on dark rural roads. We stopped at a small one and it’s very over priced. Mammoth Cave was 30min from home. My 2 negative comments are 1) the deadbolt didn’t work. Beth informed me they were trying to do keypad. I felt safe enough 2) it’s a little bit older jacuzzi so it needs a little TL

The property was very nice and accommodating for our group. We loved the huge open kitchen and dining space. The covered outdoor area was very nice as well. Unfortunate but understandable that we weren't able to use the dock due to recent flooding. The master bath shower door wouldn't stay closed and the hot tub wouldn't stay hot. Besides that it was a great stay!

We enjoyed a family vacation with four adults and four kids aged 6-9. Pros- clean beautiful home and property. We all enjoyed the hot tub, and the swings around the fire pit. The house was private and spacious. Everyone loved the game room. It was about a 30 min drive to mammoth caves, which we went to most days to see caves and hike. After our outings we enjoyed a lot of time at the house playing board games and hot tubbing. Cons- my husband had to do some figuring out to get the hot tub to heat properly the first night. The outdoor furniture was a little lacking, it would have been nice to have a patio table for dining/playing games. Considerations- not exactly pros or cons but things I would want to know ahead of time- the area is very rural, which was peaceful and what we were looking for, but a drive to a lot of attractions. The house is on a large hill that I wouldn’t like for toddler aged kids. There isn’t really lake access at the house, but this wasn’t an issue for us.

Really cute place! Very convenient and close to town. Surprisingly quiet and peaceful. Very clean. Comfy bed. Big shower. Hot tub was amazing. Would definitely recommend.

It was absolutely amazing!!. The place was so spacious. Plenty of towels and washcloths. The beds are very comfortable. Even the outside swing the pillows were absolutely amazing. Everything you could ask for this place has it. We had so much hanging out in the garage and playing games by the pool. The host was amazing. Fast responses and just so welcoming! Also the k cups for coffee was amazing and us girls were very thankful.

The Captain's Lodge far exceeded our expectations for comfort and quality. We were excited for our stay based on the photos and description, but I feel they didn't do the place enough justice! This is a perfect spot for family or friendly get-togethers with plenty of hang-out space on both interior levels as well as outside, an extra large dining table, and a well-stocked kitchen with upgraded appliances. There were plenty of games and activities for people of all ages to enjoy and the small surrounding neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The hot tub was very well-maintained and was incredibly clean. We can't wait to come back for our next stay!

We had a fantastic time at the cabin! It was clean and well-maintained, with a spacious kitchen perfect for larger families. We had so much fun playing games, enjoying the saloon, and singing on our karaoke night. The hot tub and porch were perfect for relaxing. We had a minor issue with the Blackstone, but the owners were incredibly responsive and had it fixed right away. Highly recommend this place for a great getaway!

We vacationed here as a part of spring break with our friends and their kids, there were 9 of us in total. The house was very spacious, clean and Nick and Laura were the best hosts. We stayed here as a part of a plan to visit the Mammoth Caves (which was about a 40 min drive). It was very quiet, private and a great place for the kids to explore. The house was very clean, the kitchen fully stocked with everything you need for cooking/baking. We had a great time. Highly recommend.

I spent Christmas at Benita’s place with 8 family members coming from 3 directions. It was clean, spacious, and a lovely property to explore. We enjoyed spending time together in the living room. The hosts even decorated for the holiday which was a lovely added perk. Benita was easy to communicate with and was understanding/accommodating with some changes we had due to icy/snowy weather. Great place! Great Hosts!

This cabin was truly a hidden gem! The location was incredibly secluded, offering peace and quiet, and the cabin itself was beautifully furnished and spotless. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the hot tub was the perfect way to relax after a day at mammoth cave or shopping in the town of leitchfield at some boutiques . We also appreciated the thoughtful touches like the fire pit and the provided coffee and baskets of goodies found in the bathroom and kitchen to make our stay more pleasant. We will definitely stay here again , already planning it! You won’t go wrong staying here
