A cascading waterfall is seen flowing down a rocky hillside. The water is surrounded by lush greenery and scattered brown ferns, creating a natural landscape. The movement of the water creates a light splash effect as it descends, adding a sense of motion to the scene.

Bleabeck View - 3 storey house.

RosemaryRating, 5 stars4 days ago
The cottage is very comfortable and in an ideal location to explore the surrounding countryside and within easy distance of other places like Barnard Castle, the Bowes Museum, Arab y Castle and Beamish living museum. The beds were comfortable, the water was always hot and there is lots of space in the open plan living space. The hot water never ran out even though there were 6 of us having showers every day. The view from the top bedroom was fantastic and well worth the two flights of stairs to get to it. I loved starting my day early in the morning reading by the window and soaking up the view over Harter Fell. I would love to return.

Stayed there recently on the motorbikes and it was incredible, Andrew is a great host with very useful information leading up to the trip and very helpful during! The chapel was beyond expectations and all of us there were very happy, we didn't want to leave! A great place to go relax for a few days or just go out and enjoy the surroundings. Will be booking again where possible!

Phil's Cottage. Sleeps 2 maximum 1 dog

JoannaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Myself, my husband and our 5 month old little boy had a lovely stay at Phil’s Cottage. It’s easy to see why Phil’s Cottage has so many excellent reviews! It’s a gorgeous cottage, very clean and in a lovely setting. Hosts were friendly and very responsive. Definitely the most equipped kitchen in a cottage we have stayed in - we had everything we needed! We really appreciated the fresh eggs and welcome pack too, a lovely surprise. Excellent for staying with a baby - plenty of room for a travel cot, a bath (with a baby bath provided) and even a small table in the bedroom for setting up night feeds, it was perfect. We had a great stay and will definitely be back, thanks so much!

Julie's place is lovely - really homely and perfect for us on our tour! She was quick to communicate and the cottage has everything you need. She was also very accomodating with giving us a later checkout as there were no other guests arriving. Really nice person to rent from! Would highly recommend! Thanks Julie!
