Vacation rentals in Grassano

We were only one night but the property was very clean and Maria was awesome.

We had a great stay at Villa Anna. The house is nicely decorated (what a beautiful view from the bedroom and bathroom) with an eye for detail. The kitchen is also very well equipped. Finally, there is a large terrace, ideal for a BBQ or aperitif in the sun. The house is also very suitable for (young) children. I'd recommend to anyone.

We are a family of 4. And the home was very welcoming for a big family. My mom has mobility issues, the apartment has a lift. Rita, the owner is the one who welcomed us and oriented us to her unit. The 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms are spacious. My son used the big sofa bed in the living room. There are a lot of cabinets for storing things. The interiors of the house is beautiful with a nice veranda where you can sit and enjoy your coffee with a city view. The kitchen is equipped as we enjoy cooking and preparing food. There is a washing machine and a place where you can hang your laundry. Toilet paper, towels, shampoo and soap are provided. They even left a welcome gift of pastry and a big tub of mineral water. Rita is a darling for allowing us to stay a bit more to wait for our airport transfer even if they had to clean up the place for the next occupant. I so appreciate this since I have my mom to take care of. Thank you Rita!

Castelmezzano is a hidden gem and perfect in April before the crowds and heat come, although it would have been interesting to try the zip line which doesn’t start till May-June. It is a very hilly town with lots of steps, but incredibly beautiful and awe inspiring, and we enjoyed hikes including to Pietrapertosa. Luigi’s apartment is fantastic, comfortable, quiet and well equipped. Maria provided us clear instructions how to get there and where we could park. We are getting used to different opening hours in Italy than what we are used to in Australia, and had fantastic food. Luigi and Maria are great hosts, responsive, provided local recommendations and were very helpful. Highly recommend their home.

The apartment is very nice and tastefully furnished. The location is very central with views of the main square. Breakfast is also good included.

Antonio could not have been more helpful - our flight got in after midnight and he was willing to meet us for check in no problem. He was very responsive and the apartment is in a lovely area and has anything you might need

They even left us a generous selection of treats, which was such a sweet touch! The location couldn’t have been better—right in the heart of Matera, making it easy to explore this stunning city. Pietro and Valeria were kind and attentive hosts, ensuring everything was perfect for our stay. Highly recommend this gem of a place to anyone visiting Matera!
