All was great! She even had some food in the fridge. Nothing here to complain about regarding the hosts. The only challenging piece is the street sign is set back on a wooden post as it is a private drive rather than a street off Peninsula Drive.

Ellen was a wonderful host and the location was very peaceful and easy to locate. The space was stocked with anything you might want or need. You can tell the hosts are detail oriented and want their guests to feel welcome and comfortable. Ellen even prepared delicious and fresh fruits and breads to fuel for hikes. Would not hesitate to book and stay again! Thank you!

Needed a place to stay at the last minute, and this space was perfect. Small kitchenette, but it had everything I needed. Great communication with host. Would love to stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Mary and Dan were delightful hosts. We had a small issue with the gas fireplace not working the night we arrived, but Dan was over the next morning to fix it and brought us an anniversary gift of my favorite bottle of wine from Leelanau Cellers (which is conveniently located right across from the lodge). The lodge property is beautiful and peaceful. Mary and Dan’s recommendations for things to do and places to eat were top notch. We enjoyed the beautiful views at the restaurant across the way, which is next door to the winery. We happened to stumble across the lodge while looking for places to stay in this area and I am so glad we did because it was an absolutely perfect accommodation. I hope to return in the future, and have already recommended the lodge to friends and family. Thank you Mary and Dan for a wonderful weekend! We will never forget it.

We enjoyed our stay at Kevin and Taylor's. They were very kind and accommodating. Everything was as described. My children loved the toys and play area, and Taylor even set out another game for them to play while we were there. As others have said, the bed is very comfortable. While there was a lock on the bedroom door with the large bed, there isn't one on the basement door to the overall space and two twin beds. This wasn't an issue but just for awareness for others. We appreciated the beach chairs and beach towels for us to use. We didn't spend much time there, as we were traveling about town, but wish we could have, as it was a nice space. We hope to stay there again if something brings us into town.

Rixi and Mark are such a sweet caring hosts. Such a beautiful peaceful area and I was able to rest very well. I loved the sunrise from the window. I had the second floor all to myself and was very comfortable. Thank you Roxi, Mark!

Stunning setting with private beach on GTB. We enjoy getting to know home owners and their hospitality style. This is part of the fun! Thank you. I missed that there wasn’t a stove but that was on me. We were able to adjust our meals to using only a microwave and toaster. Hope to return!

My family and I loved our stay with Dan and Rachel, and definitely will be back. We had a girls trip with my aunt who was visiting from the UK, and had the best time. The property is so calm and peaceful, the perfect summer getaway. Our room was clean and spacious, and had a great view of the lake. Dan and Rachel were so kind and accommodating in all of our interactions. It was wonderful to be greeted by Dunes, the family dog on the property, as we enjoyed our complimentary breakfast on the patio outside our room. Visiting the chickens and buying their fresh eggs was an unexpected bonus. Our stay exceeded our expectations, and we are so happy to have found such a gem of a vacation place!

This carriage house was a perfect get-away for my mom and I this past weekend. The surroundings were beautiful; we timed it perfectly for the trees changing color! The fireplace made it so cozy and enjoyable and the beds were so comfy- perfect for long hours of reading and relaxing. When we wanted to get out and about TC was a quick drive around the bay. It was a wonderful weekend away!

Great place, peaceful; relaxing, close enough to everything we wanted to see! We did a lot in 2 days, charlevoix, petoskey, sleeping bear dunes, tunnel of trees, harbor springs. The hot tub at night was a great touch, and the place was super clean!! Beds comfortable, bathroom nice! Very spacious and lovely overall

Our stay was great! Nancy was thoughtful and kind, leaving a nice note, snacks and drinks for us that were so helpful. The space was clean and perfect for the two of us.

We had a wonderful stay and the owners couldn’t have been more friendly, accommodating and welcoming. We appreciated the helpful suggestions on local activities and loved the cookies and cherries that Becky left for us! The property is gorgeous and it feels like you’re far from everything (in a very good way) but it’s also a short and easy drive to town to take advantage of the shops and restaurants in Traverse City. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Our stay in Kewadin was exactly as depicted and described and worth every minute! Super thankful for such great hosts on a beautiful property, with great accommodations! It was secluded and showed the true beauty of Northern Michigan but had so much, around, to enjoy and fulfill our time. Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend! Highly recommended!

Brian was an extremely good host. We had snow falling the entire time during our stay and Brian shoveled out pathways for us to walk, to our car and even brushed off our car on multiple occasions. We had a little trouble with his toilet and not flushing and Brian responded and had it fixed the very next day. We also were having problems getting into his place and within minutes he had it fixed for us. He was always there when needed and always love to hear his recommendations and conversations. Will definitely be coming back!

This AirBNB is clean and spacious with nice decoration. All beds are comfortable with a lot bedding stuff. They have opened the hot tub and we can use it anytime, we enjoyed it after coming back from boating in Torch Lake (30 minutes). The kitchen is small but functional and has everything, we cooked simple breakfast and BBQ dinner using the grill outside. There’s a big TV in the living room we viewed the Olympic Games. The host is responsive and friendly to communication. The price is reasonable for our 7 guests.
