Skiing & Tubing is right around the corner. The condo is on gorgeous East Grand Traverse Bay. The Suite was recently fully renovated. It is clean and comfortable for couples, families and friends. Close to restaurants, wineries, Horse Expo, golfing, putt putt, casino, downtown Traverse city and much more. Two queen size beds are on one side of the suite and queen size sleeper sofa is on the other side with a living area and kitchen. Both sides have full bath, tv and room to lounge. The house was as described. Beautiful fenced in back yard for dogs to run around. Beautiful view of sunrise over tge water. Nice private beach with dock. Very open layout. We were there with 5 adults and three dogs. When we come back to Traverse City this would be the place I'd stat.

You will instantly fall in love with the quiet lakefront beauty and the breath-taking and welcoming home just 60 or so feet from the water. The main floor of the house is close to lake level making the drama of nature around you compelling and inspiring. The waterfront and waves lapping the stone and sand shore are visible from almost all the rooms of the house, and it's a short walk to River Street in Elk Rapids. Traverse Magazine readers voted River Street "in the top 10 of ‘Sweet Small-Town Main Streets in Northern Michigan.'” The pace of life is calming in this lovely town and in this beautiful home. Owner Bernadette and property manager Sam make you feel perfectly at home. Response time to messages is instant, polite, and friendly. There's so much enjoyment to be had for all ages here.

Can't say enough about how nice it is to stay at Honey's. The accommodations are great, and Honey made us feel at home. She communicated promptly and clearly, even suggested a local event that we attended and enjoyed. It's nice to have a host who is thoughtful and considerate of her guests. I highly recommend Honey's place. It's a hidden gem!!!

We had an enjoyable weekend! The instructions to get in were easy and clear. The condo was clean and comfortable and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. It snowed the whole time we were there so we appreciated that the entry was covered and sidewalk/steps were kept shoveled and salted. We enjoyed watching the ducks on the river out the back patio. I highly recommend Holly's place!

Sweet space with walkability to a stunning view of Lake Leelanau. Easily able to drive to local “hot spots” like Suttons Bay, Leland, Northport, Glen Arbor and Sleeping Bear Dunes. All the peninsula's wineries and cideries are within a short drive and so are some of the most incredible hiking paths. The space is quaint with everything you might need for a visit. My favorite was the fireplace and the stream just out the front door…the sound of it was delightful. The backyard space is vast and a wonderful place for a bonfire! You’ll enjoy your time here.

My family and I loved our stay with Dan and Rachel, and definitely will be back. We had a girls trip with my aunt who was visiting from the UK, and had the best time. The property is so calm and peaceful, the perfect summer getaway. Our room was clean and spacious, and had a great view of the lake. Dan and Rachel were so kind and accommodating in all of our interactions. It was wonderful to be greeted by Dunes, the family dog on the property, as we enjoyed our complimentary breakfast on the patio outside our room. Visiting the chickens and buying their fresh eggs was an unexpected bonus. Our stay exceeded our expectations, and we are so happy to have found such a gem of a vacation place!

Great place to stay around Spider Lake, especially if you're looking to unwind, enjoy some peaceful time, and fire up the BBQ. The location is serene, and we felt like we picked the perfect time to visit. I've heard it gets quite busy during the summer months. One thing to note: the ladder access might be tricky for elderly guests or anyone with balance issues, so keep that in mind. That said, we had no issues ourselves and really enjoyed our stay!
