Farmstay vacation rentals in Grand River

I cannot say enough positive and glowing comments about the host, Sian and of her beautiful home in Hamilton. I have rented many homes over the years and can't say I have enjoyed another rental as much. I was visiting from Calgary, Alberta, and a friend of over 50 years joined me from Michigan for a 'catch up' visit. The house itself was spotlessly clean and decorated with impeccable taste. I loved every detail. The setting where the house stood was a delight---surrounding gardens and flowers a rainbow of colours. Even though her own home was steps away we had complete privacy. With communication, restaurants recommendations, etc, Sian was very helpful and quick to respond. The beds were comfy, the bathroom linens were plentiful and absorbent. Cooking was made easy with a well stocked kitchen. it was a warm week in Ontario and the AC was fantastic. The washer and dryer were an extra bonus. I came away feeling I had made a new friend in Sian. All I have left to say is Thank you!

We had a lovely stay at Lee Anne’s place. The pictures really don’t do it justice. The rooms were so comfortable! The beds were dressed with beautiful quality pillows and linens. The kitchen had all the appliances and dishes you will need to entertain a dozen people. The fireplace is positively magnificent and there was plenty of dry wood just outside the door to enjoy it. The grounds are meticulously well kept and Lee Anne’s husband Tom was a pleasure to chat with. This property in the fall is stunning but I can’t imagine any season that would not be amazing here. All in all it was an incredible week in this beautiful home and we would not hesitate to rent it again. Thank you so very much Lee Anne!

We had the most wonderful stay at Emma & Brett’s beautiful cabin — yet again! This was our second visit, and we loved it so much the first time that we brought our parents along this time, who fell in love with the place as well. From the serene location to the cozy ambiance, everything was just perfect for unwinding and escaping the hustle and bustle of Toronto. It’s a hidden gem — peaceful and secluded, yet still close enough to the city to feel like the perfect weekend getaway. Emma is an exceptional host, always making sure we’re comfortable and have everything we need. We truly appreciated her attention to detail and her warm hospitality. We’ll definitely be back again! Thank you for another amazing stay!

This was a great place for a girl's weekend. It had everything we needed for a relaxing and peaceful experience. Large common areas allowed for space for us to interact. Would definitely consider coming back.

I am an owner of a B&B and this spot is the best place I’ve stayed. Emily and Randy are phenomenal hosts!!! The space has everything you could think of including a first aid kit and Tylenol which comes in handy in wine country. The down pillows were very comfy and so was the bed. The bathroom area has a heat lamp to keep you extra warm after a shower. The place has beautiful curated antiques and lovely lavender products from the lavender farm. The farm fresh eggs and bacon add to the whole experience. The hosts have a beautiful store that sells amazing lavender products from their farm. We walked the grounds also which were very a great example of all of Emily’s and Randy’s hard work!

Loved this home, it was beautifully decorated every inch. My favourite bedroom was the one on the first floor. This was a change from the typical waterfront properties our family books but with a heated pool and jacuzzi that was situated in a landscaped backyard we couldn’t ask for more. Very clean and she had everything. Lindy has really outdone herself to make sure her guests from all ages enjoy her home. She accommodated our family literally 3 hours before checkin, as the cottage we originally booked the host cancelled less than 24hrs before checkin. Thank you Lindy for sharing your home!!

Suzanne's place was peaceful and cozy, and the perfect location to enjoy the Niagara region. We appreciated how flexible she was with check in and how thoughtful she was with all the little treats. Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed for a weekend while doing some work locally. Easy check-in process. Place was as advertised. Very clean & cute. Kitchen is very well-equipped with all necessary utensils/items. Would for sure stay here again!!

I love the Farm Shed...it feels like you have rented a wee home of your own and it's nestled in a serene farm setting...quiet, contemplative and cozy. The friendliest cat was a bonus.

Yolanda’s place was the perfect little getaway for my boyfriend’s birthday! We enjoyed the peace, the sounds of the frogs and crickets. We saw the chickens in the morning from a distance ! The space is cozy and comfy , exactly what I was looking for and had everything I needed to make meals, etc. Yolanda was very sweet and thoughtful (appreciated the snacks on our day trip to Niagara !) and she was very responsive to my questions. When I needed assistance she provided a solution immediately and it worked out. Would definitely come back !

Words cannot express what a special place this is! My husband and I had a blissful, peaceful, inspiring stay at The Squire's Cottage and we're already talking about going back. This is the kind of experience that made us fall in love with the airbnb experience in the first place. Wonderful place (and the cleanest we've ever stayed in), wonderful hosts. We adored meeting the horses, mules, and roosters, too. And sitting by the fireplace, making delicious products picked up around the area on the excellent bbq, watching the birds from the front porch. Delicous goodies on arrival, including farm-fresh eggs, were so appreciated! The bed was supercomfy, too, and we slept like kings. Thank you, Jan and Doug!

Absolutely loved this property! Rich with history, secluded and private yet so close to all of the Niagara Falls attractions! My partner and I were only in town for a short visit but we will definitely be back for a longer stay next time! Nick and Katie were so accommodating and the check-in / check out process was so easy! This property is a MUST STAY property if you’re ever looking for a beautiful, quiet place to rest your head in the Niagara region!!

Amazing place! Beautiful nature, close to a creek, lots of stars at night, beautiful cats roaming around, fire pit, jacuzzi. Just a very peaceful, serene place to be. Chris and Ann are wonderful people. One of my favorite Airbnbs I've ever stayed at.

Another fantastic stay as always. From the time you book it until the time you leave, there's constant communication. The place is absolutely fantastic. If you're anywhere in the area and you want an outstanding place with a fantastic host, I highly recommend. Karen went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. She was very gracious and letting us stay a few extra hours for a late checkout due to some terrible weather conditions.. We will definitely be back and highly recommended to anyone.

This was our second time staying in Emily's cabin, and certainly not the last! The place was quiet, private, and with a rustic charm that was perfect for a group of admittedly very nerdy adults looking for a place to spend a weekend playing medieval fantasy tabletop roleplaying games. The place was quaint, clean, well stocked with supplies, very spacious, and Emily was very responsive if we needed anything. Though, as repeat customers, we needed very little. Thanks Emily, and with any luck, we'll be back soon.

I really enjoyed my stay; the basement apartment is lovely and spacious. Made great use of walking on the property, lots to look at and just enjoy the area. Within 8-15min drive, one gets to cosy villages and larger towns with great Antiques, stellar local ceramic artifacts, exciting eateries, and Lake Erie. I highly recommend staying at Bonnieheath.

Really enjoyed our stay here, lovely setting. We rode the bikes and enjoyed the solo stove out back as well. Beds were super comfortable and we loved the comfy vibe of it all. Would come back without the kid for a couples weekend in peak season for sure.

Michael's place was exactly as listed. He answered any questions promptly. The cottage was beautiful. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing get away.
