We loved having seperate rooms for each of us! The lake was beautiful! Our boys enjoyed going out on the kayak & wished the weather would have been nice enough to use the stand up paddle boards. The property had a really great game area, fire pit, & hot tub we enjoyed as a family. Our kids enjoyed the games and movies to wind down. We also enjoyed the board games provided! Being able to bring our dog along was a lifesaver!

We cancelled a commercial hotel reservation to stay at Beverly's cottage, and it was probably the best decision we made for a wonderful vacation. The cottage is peaceful and in gorgeous surroundings but is still within minutes of the small town of Chazy. It felt private yet protected, and it was so much homier and more comfortable than a hotel. Everything is as pictured in the listing. The shower is small but warm water was plentiful. Internet was a bit spotty, but that only helped us to relax and cell service was excellent. It was an easy drive to Saranac, Lake Placid, Burlington, etc, leaving enough time in the evening to enjoy a glass of wine and Chazy Orchards apple pie in the evening while we looked out over Lake Champlain. Hosts were accessible but never intruded. We would go back in a split second if we get back to the area.

I have stayed in a many rental properties over the years and I have never had a kitchen so loaded with everything a cook could ask for - very helpful! Amazing views and a 20 minute drive to Jay - just a great experience. The property is on a dirt road, which is no joke. Make sure you have the right vehicle for Vermont mud season and you will have the time of your life. Highly recommended!

She’s super friendly and even checked in asking if we needed any necessities. Our Valentine’s weekend took an unexpected turn when our original Airbnb canceled on us after check-in, leaving us stranded. But thanks to Airbnb’s support team, we found Chalet La-Berge Du Lac—and oh my god, were we lucky! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away. The chalet is spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly cozy. The jacuzzi was simply amazing, the perfect way to unwind and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Though it was winter and the lake was frozen, we could see they offer kayaks, outdoor activities, and even ice fishing—which I wish I had known about earlier! The place has everything you need—a spacious layout, plenty of amenities like a BBQ, a cozy living room with a sofa bed, and so much more. The hosts were exceptional—super friendly and always available whenever we had a question. Communication was seamless, and the check-in/check-out process was effortless. We will definitely be back!!

The weather was very cold, but we were quite warm & cozy in the house. The driveway was plowed and passable so no worries about that. Cecile was very responsive with one of our questions when we first arrived and offered to even come to the house (which we didn't need.) She also checked in midweek to make sure we were good or needed anything.

Clean, well-equipped home, easy access, clear instructions for getting there. Close to Mont-Orford, Sepaq. A few minutes from Magog. Sophie informed us of the issue with the hot tubs before we arrived and came to see us to explain the situation. In short, we'll definitely go back.

My husband, mother-in-law, dog and I spent a weekend at this beautiful location. If you like privacy, scenery, peacefulness, and nature then this is the place to stay. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. The glass sitting room is a fantastic place to read. The yard is huge and my dog loved running around and playing. The beds are also extremely comfortable, which is a huge plus. If you’re looking for a peaceful weekend in Vermont, we highly recommend staying here. 5 out of 5!

My mom and I celebrated her 78th birthday on the lake. Bradley wanted us to know that it might be on the cooler side as it was the end of October. The camp was actually super cozy! We enjoyed the space so , so much!! It had everything we needed. I hope to visit again!! Bradly is an outstanding host!!

This place is among the best for ski-in, ski-out at Jay Peak! We were here for a week, and it went too fast. When not skiing or exploring outside, it was fun just sitting on the couch and watching the skiers & boarders ride on by on the run just outside the back door. I have no hesitation in recommending a stay at Chris' place here!

Really fantastic place to stay, Darren was very responsive when we had any little issues and was able to solve them all. I loved using the kayaks that came with the bnb, we went early October and the lake was peaceful and gorgeous to kayak on. The road can be heard from inside but it's not noticeable most of the time and traffic is almost non existent at night. My family and I would be thrilled to stay again should we return to the area.

Beautiful little cozy and warm cottage. We were two adults and two kids, we had enough space and especially a lot of fun despite the rainy weather. The facilities are rudimentary but completely in accordance with the description and everything is functional. The micro chalet is located really close to the parking lot and Club Houde which can be a good option with children. The outdoor terrace with the fire spot is a nice plus to the cottage. I will definitely return in the summer.

We had a lovely stay in Magog. The location would be perfect in the summer for a more walkable break as it’s close to the beach, out of summer season you probably need a car for most activities. Thanks for a nice stay!
