We had a great stay at Matthew’s place in Stari Grad. Stari Grad itself is a lovely place to have a quiet stay. Matthew provided recommendations for things to do & restaurants to eat at. Matthew was quick to respond. The place was very clean & everything you need in the kitchen. For the Americans that love having an AC — there is a small unit & a table fan you can place to get airflow, which was a nice touch. You must stop at Za Pod Zub for local foods/wine! Fredy’s & Melting Spot for delish coffee.

A last-minute decision in high season, the offer stood out. The apartment was nicely renovated and set in a rather quiet square just a couple minutes walking distance from the strict old town centre. Do not regret revisiting the island of Hvar after almost three decades - nor picking Stari Grad and the Old Townhouse. Especially loved the facilities, from the kitchen to the bathroom (with a very neat set of soaps, shampoo and body wash). A responsive AC was indispensible in making the stay pleasant and comfortble even while the outside temperatures rose above 35°C. Do recommend and would definitely consider repeating the stay at the same venue in the future.

Honnêtement la meilleure partie de notre séjour en Croatie!! Nous sommes restés dormir 2 nuits dans ce petit havre de paix où nous nous sentions sincèrement comme seuls au monde! Tout était parfait: - Le petit déjeuné et les repas préparés par Leonardo (succulents )!! - La vue sur mer depuis la chambre, le cadre idyllique, les transats, les padel board et les masques/tubas mis à disposition !! - L’accueil d’Alex, toujours agréable et souriant nous faisant nous sentir comme chez nous!! We had a wonderful stay at Matthew’s apartment in Stari Grad - super cozy and clean, felt just like home! The location was great, just a short walk to all the key restaurants and shops in town. Nice place with a good look over the city. The beds were a bit old and creaky, but it just added to the charm of the apartment. Petra upgraded us from a room to a whole apartment free of charge, which we were really grateful for 😄 The free parking at the house was a godsend, since the small streets in the city were flooded with cars parking everywhere (one of the small charms of a Mediterranian/Adriatic Coast Island!) Thank you Petra for an amazing stay 🌞

Unser Aufenthalt bei Petra in Hvar war einfach großartig! Das Zimmer war genauso, wie beschrieben – sehr sauber, gemütlich und mit einer wirklich angenehmen Atmosphäre. Petra selbst war unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit, wir haben uns von Anfang an willkommen gefühlt. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist perfekt, um die Insel zu erkunden, und wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Absolut empfehlenswert und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen! Vielen Dank, Petra!

We had a truly magical stay at Marco‘s place. The interior was the best Airbnb that we’ve ever stayed at, all new, so well appointed and modern. And the views were just simply astonishing. I would recommend this to everybody I know. Marco is very charming and we met his father who is lovely as well. Very responsive when we needed some help. Just be aware that with the view comes a few more steps than we realized, but they were definitely worthwhile. We definitely hope to be back many times.
