Family-friendly vacation rentals in Grad Hvar

We loved our stay at Blue Bay residences. We were met by the host, given a tour of the facilities and provided an overview of what to do and where to eat. It has well appointed accommodations, ample space with breath-taking views of the Adriatic Sea. After many days on the road, laundry service was provided and much appreciated. Overall warm island hospitality. I highly recommend this place.

We absolutely loved our stay at Zarko’s cottage. The house and garden are very pretty, and the house was equipped with everything we needed. We loved sitting outside by the pool, it was very private and so peaceful. Zarko was really welcoming and on hand if we needed anything. He showed us how to get to the local Žukova beach which is beautiful for swimming. Stari Grad is really close by and has some great restaurants, market, and shops. We would definitely go back to stay at Zarko’s place if we returned to Hvar.

This space was really special for our stay on Hvar. The view of the sea is stunning from the two separate balconies and the hot tub. The apartment is tidy and modern, giving you walkable access to both the gown and nearby Pokonji Dol. Would love to stay here again!

Biserka and her family were incredibly kind and hospitable to my friends and me and helped make our experience in Hvar magical :)). Not to mention her adorable puppy!!!! Would most definitely stay with her again if I make it back out to Hvar —highly recommend! And the balcony along with the insane view was awesome.

We had a great time at Josipa's place when the weather was gloomy, it felt good, everything is well thought out, the terrace and hot tub are a plus. Josipa is very responsive , very welcoming and helped us with our boat problem, she came to pick us up and take us back to the bus station. Quiet environment but in height 15'/20' from the center. I highly recommend

We have had a great time in beautiful Stari Grad! The villa is im a great location and extremely well equipped, with copious comfortable outdoor seating. Eva has been so helpful in local knowledge and even picked us up from the port and took us to the villa. The villa is in walking distance to stari grad which has a wide selection of bars and restaurants. We would highly recommend the villa and would like to thank Eva and Dragan for looking after us so well!!!

Do not hesitate to book this place! Maja was awesome when it came to checking in and out, the place itself was gorgeous and extremely clean! The bed was very comfortable and the shower was not only beautiful but had perfect water pressure! The house is a 20min walk from the center and the views are so amazing the walk feels much less! As for the views, they are to die for! You also have access to the water right in front of the house. We loved this space and will 100% be booking again if we ever come back.

We really enjoyed our stay in Hvar thanks to the great recommendations made by our host. The location is beautiful and worth the walk for the wonderful view - we would definitely stay here again!

Loved staying here and the location is perfect, with beaches, restaurants and shops 2 mins from the apartment. Really easy to find/get to from the Ferry Port even with big bags and the property was very well equipped. Durdica and her husband were very welcoming and helpful. Thank you!

Everything was fantastic. Great apartment, good location, excellent host. I was extremely comfortable and super grateful to be accommodated a little earlier. I recommend and would stay again myself if in Hvar.

I highly recommend this accomodation to anyone. We were super comfortable here and the balcony was Everything 🙌. The view and location is perfect. Car space right at your door. The bed was super comfy too. Kids were happy is a seperate room with the sofa bed. Very clean also. We will definitely return in future. The two Aircon’s are great. We Loved our stay 😊

Ani was very responsive and warned us in advance the ferry from Dubrovnik to Hvar was cancelled due to bad weather. Her home was very welcoming. Clean comfortable beds , good shower, well appointed kitchen. Ani was very friendly and provided lots of information and good restaurants on the island. Thank you Ani

Very nice place to stay, at the top of a big hill so could be hard to go if you are walking. Very respectful.

Petar’s place is right in the top of one of the mountains in Hvar island, you can really see the sea and the surrounding islands. Petar and his mom were very nice. We recommend this place

Steps away from a beautiful and not crowded beach (mid- July). Because it’s away from the £££ area of Hvar, beach beds are only €20 for two including parasol. Apartment has two bathrooms, so big enough for 4 adults, assuming you are eating out in the evenings.

We had a lovely stay at Mario’s villa, the views are stunning. As a group of ten we had plenty of space and highly enjoyed our stay. The villa is in a secluded area for privacy but when leaving the villa I would highly recommend leaving any valuables or cash in the safe. We used the private chef who was fantastic. Communication was easy and the hosts were very responsive. Would recommend, we had a great time.

In addition to having THE most beautiful villa, Vilma was very very helpful as we navigated Hvar.

Filip was an amazing host, always helpful, friendly and made us feel right at home. We all loved the house and location, easy walk into Hvar and in the other direction to a wonderful beach. The house was comfortable and had all we needed. The pool was perfect. Highly recommended and thanks Filip!

Thoroughly recommend Lana’s apartment. Lana and her husband were welcoming, friendly hosts - nothing was too much trouble, they were always happy to help. They offered some great recommendations for local places to eat, and loaned us an umbrella at very short notice when it unfortunately rained one day. The apartment was spotlessly clean and spacious. The pool area was well kept, and the location couldn’t be better - quiet in the evenings, but less than ten minutes walk to some brilliant restaurants and bars. We hope to visit again some day.

Great, very well maintained apartment with private pool. Highly recommended. Very friendly welcome. It is better to park at the beginning of the street as it is very narrow and you can hardly turn there.
