Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Gouvia

We were three people traveling—myself, my wife, and my 83-year-old father—on a family trip, and this rental was a great fit for our needs. The location was ideal: quiet, picturesque, with restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance, and major attractions easy to reach by car. Having a dedicated parking spot was a big plus. The apartment itself was clean and practical for our needs, but the real gem was the large sea-view balcony. We spent time out there every single day - it became our shared space, especially since the inside was quite small and didn’t have much of a common area. That was something we knew ahead of time from the listing so it wasn’t a surprise. Overall, it was a lovely stay. It felt like the right place for our little family getaway, and we’d definitely come back. No complaints - just good memories.

The peaceful and private location right at the water's edge is unbeatable. You can have breakfast and dinner in the garden, use the sun-loungers and go swimming in crystal clear water. Sotirios gave us a lot of helpful information on sightseeing off the beaten track. Restaurants and supermarkets are within walking distance if you don't have a car. We would love to come back.

I am originally from Corfu but I've been living abroad for most of my life. I contemplated writing this review in Greek, but the reality is that Corfiots already know what a gem of a flat this is. So I am writing this in English to help anyone else who wants to visit. This is the most amazing AirBnB you will find in Corfu old town, period. If you've watched the Durrell tv series and wondered how it would feel to live in that era, but with modern amenities and comfort, look no further. Maria and Francesca's place is the most warm, authentic, well-kept, 200 year old apartment I have ever been to. St. Spiridon, Old and New Fortress, Liston square, Faliraki beach, Yacht Club, Kapodistrias' home, the Sunrise and Sunset are all there for you to enjoy from your countless windows or the one-of-a-kind Belvedere outpost, accessible by an interior staircase. Now, if you happen to spend Greek Easter here, you are in for a treat. You can see the fireworks, marching bands etc. right in front of you!

We enjoyed a lovely week at Sunrise at the beginning of June. The apartment is well equipped with modern features and the air conditioning was particularly effective and allowed us a great nights sleep in the very warm weather. The balcony is superb and offers stunning views across the bay to Corfu Town. The accommodation is well located above Barbati, although the hill can be a little daunting, on foot, after an evening out. Alexandra & her husband are discreetly on hand, if needed - thank you, both!!

What a cute little apartment. It had everything one needs: all the basic amenities plus an AC, a TV (with many channels), a hair dryer, and they even let me borrow an umbrella and gave me a pair of house slippers after I requested them. The front yard smells like an orchard in full bloom. Very tranquil and a stone's throw from the Green bus stop where buses to Corfu town come every hour or so. All in all, this experience was nothing short of wonderful and I wish I had stayed here longer. Thank you so much Alexandra and Panos.

Absolutely perfect – a top stay in Corfu So glad we found this place—it was perfect. I’m picky about where I stay, but this one is definitely on my top list. The apartment was modern, spacious, and felt truly luxurious, perfect for our family of four (and could easily fit six). The view was stunning, and we loved sitting on the balcony in the mornings and evenings. Great location with amazing spots nearby. The host, Nikos, was responsive and shared helpful local tips. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Vivi was a wonderful host and very helpful from start to finish. She offered to arrange a private transfer from the airport, she gave us recommendations for local beaches and helped us navigate the tricky public transport system. Vivi was always quick to respond and keen to assist us with anything we had an issue with. The studio was lovely - bright and clean and exactly like the description. It's literally a two minute walk from Kalami beach and right across from a supermarket. I cannot recommend Vivi's place enough!

Lieu parfaitement situé, parfait pour un séjour à Corfou pour deux personnes. La vue est un atout majeur de la location. Impossible de s’en lasser ! Le logement est impeccable, dispose de tout ce dont on a besoin. Nikos est un hôte discret, disponible et très sympathique. Nous recommandons !

We had an amazing holiday at Fanis House. The property is clean and comfortable and has everything you need. The views from the terrace are very special. The location of the house is great, very close to good restaurants and bars. We particularly liked Tango bar which is opposite and La Grotta bar. We also liked Vivaria bar next to Belvedere Restaurant which has a swimming pool. There is a bus stop close to the house with a very efficient and comfortable bus service to Corfu Town. Elena is a fantastic host who went out of her way to ensure we had a great holiday. She was very helpful and booked taxis for us when we needed them. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Corfu and have no hesitation in recommending Fanis House.

the apartment was very clean and welcoming. we had everything we needed. I loved waking you to the sound of cockerals and the birds and the garden is beautiful, about a 6 minute drive to the closest beach. There is also a lake nearby. I had hired a rental car so we could get to other areas and this is wise as this apartment is set away from the busy areas. The area is so peaceful and Nick was very helpful when I needed help with my phones WiFi and data! Nicks Mum was also very helpful and around when we needed her. All in all we had a lovely stay, and I would highly recommend coming here. Hopefully we will come back next year :) Thanks Nick and his Mum, we had a lovely stay!

Très beau logement, spacieux, propre et très bien situé. Efi est une hôte très agréable, souriante et disponible.

Athanassia and her parents were incredibly friendly and made us feel like home. We were greeted with a wonderful dinner cooked by Athanassia’s dad and it was such a fantastic, friendly welcome! The place is wonderful. You can never get bored of the beautiful views from every room. It is perfect for 3-4 couples / small families. There was enough space for everyone and we never felt “stuck” with the same people. The pool is such a wonderful addition and a complete must have in hot summer months. We absolutely enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and did cook quite a lot. Swings is a nice addition for families with small kids - it was the main place to hang out. Also the garden is big and has many trees and plants and it was amazing to just roam around and for kids to look for bugs and flowers. They were never bored there and we stayed for 11 nights! Loads of tavernas in 5-10min drive distance. The roads near by are not really for walking so we suggest to use car for commuting. Thank you so much ❤

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt bei Stamatis und seiner Familie :) Von Anfang an haben wir uns wohl gefühlt. Mit dem Blick aufs Meer lässt es sich morgens hervorragend frühstücken und Abends lädt die Hängematte zum Verweilen ein. Die Unterkunft ist liebevoll eingerichtet und grenzt direkt an einen Wanderweg. Zu Fuß sind es 10/15 Minuten zum Strand und Arillas ist ein schönes nicht zu überlaufendes Dorf. Wir würden sofort wiederkommen.

Soggiorno Fantastico! Io e la mia ragazza abbiamo soggiornato presso l’appartamento per una settimana e siamo stati benissimo. La casa era esattamente come nelle foto, pulita, spaziosa e con tutto l’occorrente per poter trascorrere un soggiorno perfetto. Thanos e la sua famiglia sono stati gentilissimi in tutto, reattivi e disponibili per qualsiasi necessità. Ci hanno dato consigli sulla zona, sui vari ristoranti e sulle escursioni da poter prenotare per goderci la vacanza. Spero di tornare quanto prima e di poter nuovamente soggiornare presso la loro struttura! Consigliatissimo anche per le famiglie in quanto la zona è super tranquilla. Grazie per averci trattato come se fossimo parte della vostra famiglia, a presto!

villa fantastica, con una vista stupenda. corrisponde perfettamente alla descrizione. Spyridon è un host impeccabile, disponibile e gentilissimo. Nonostante il nostro arrivo ad un orario improbabile a causa di un ritardo aereo, ci ha atteso con un cesto di ben venuto e ci ha dato consigli su Corfú, anche durante il soggiorno è sempre stato disponibile per qualsiasi nostra necessitá. Consigliatissimo

This is our third time at Vivi’s place - it is so special. Incredible location, Vivi and her family are so welcoming and helpful. The apartment is lovely. And it is in the best part of Corfu - the northeastern part of the island is beautiful and peaceful. Thanks again for another fabulous stay - we’ll be back!

Lidovois a été super gentil en m aidant à amener mon vélo et mes sacoches dans sa voiture sur la route pour mon départ . . Nous avons aussi discuté ensemble de divers sujets . Tout a été parfait et vraiment reposant dans l appartement. La plage est à 5 mns et c est superbe car pas trop envahi de location de transats . Génial . Eric

The apartment is in a top location and decorated in style with the area. We in particular enjoyed sitting on the little balcony, watching live go on in the street below. A street musician passed one evening while the swallows would be visiting us every morning and evening. An excellent stay in a beautiful town.

Quiet flat even tho in the heart of old town, especially convenient, clean and has atmosphere, with lovely art work, Zoe was around/available if had any questions, and I had a beautiful 3 days in Corfu in part due to having the space.

Tiptop Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, fußläufig ist vom Flughafen bis zur Innenstadt alles zu erreichen. Kostas ist sehr nett und flexibel, gerne wieder.

Angela est une hôte très sympathique et réactive. Nous avions initialement réservé une chambre, mais en raison d’un petit problème technique, elle a été très arrangeante et nous a installés dans une chambre supérieure à celle prévue. Le logement est propre, fidèle aux photos, et offre une vue incroyable sur la mer. La literie est également très confortable, ce qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. Il y a de nombreuses supérettes à proximité, ce qui est très pratique. Je vous recommande toutefois de prévoir une voiture, car le logement est situé en montagne et cela peut devenir fatigant à la longue. Rien à redire, un grand merci à Angela !

Myrto was very helpful, accommodating a very late check in. She responded quickly to any questions we had and went out of her way to help. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and within easy walling distance of the old town of Corfu. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying at Myrto’s place.

Ioanna hat hier eine tolle Wohnung! Die Lage am Rande der Altstadt in zweiter Reihe am Saroko-Platz ist ideal, um abends einen Rundgang zu machen, morgens fürs Frühstück auf dem schönen Balkon einzukaufen etc. Die Betten sind bequem mit vielen verschiede Decken und Kissen, die Küche ist top ausgestattet, Heisswasser funktioniert einwandfrei. Es gibt, abseits der bewachten Parkplätze, auch dann und wann einen freien im Viertel, wir waren Ende Mai da und haben immer einen gefunden. Die Busse fahren am Platz ab. Absolute Empfehlung für Korfu Stadt!

Giorgos was really really welcoming and helpful. The apartment ist just 5 walking minutes away from beautiful "La Grotta" where one can also catch the busses. Small supermarket directly nearby. I would come back any time:)
