Great place, large house with big separate rooms, beautiful views, lovely walking paths around the golf course and on the hiking trials. Dutton Cove great sea food restaurant nearby. Herold`s bay Beach is small drive away. Overall great value for money.

What a wonderful stay! From the 1st communication the checkout, everything was wonderful. We had a family of 14 from 8 years old to 83. The house swallowed us up. Pictures on here don't quite do it justice. A beautiful house that flows from the kitchen to the lounge to the deck to that amazing view right on the beach. It was perfect for our large family get together. We all had enough space to be together but crucially enough to be apart as well. It was very well equipped to cater for all of us. The setting of the house is just fantastic right on the best beach in SA but still walking distance to all that Wilderness has to offer. Finally I have to mention Elzette. My Mother of 83 had a fall just before our trip so was not very mobile. Elzette sent us all the info we needed before the trip and even helped by picking up mobility equipment from George for our arrival. Above and beyond! Any issues were immediately attended to with kindness and efficiency. Highly recommend! Thanks

Lovely property with everything that you need. I do think that there is some maintenance needed as it was not cheap to stay there.

Amazing views. Extremely well equipped. Even better than my own home. Very modern and everything as described. Great host, Westley. The only negative is that is a quite steep road up from the center to the house so we took the car for going out to dinner although it is a close distance to some good restaurants. The beach was also beautiful and very few people when we visited in end of February. Wilderness is a charming little town.

Great location right on the beach. Lovely home with everything we needed as a family of 5 with children aged 4,7 and 12. Cynthia was very attentive and helpful and kept the place spotless. Highly recommend this one!

WOW, what an amazing house. We had the best 2 days staying at Linda's place. Extraordinary house with a tree growing in the lounge and super stylish all around. We were absolutely amazed by all the facilities and the most amazing views (we spotted dolphins from the balcony) and would return in a heartbeat. Communication with Linda was great from the get go and her recommendations where spot on. The beach is a stone throw away and we wished we could have stayed longer. Doubt you find a better accommodation in the area, with a fully kitted supermarket (and liquor store) a 5 minute drive away. We'll be back 100%. Thank you Linda for a beautiful stay!

We had a fantastic stay at Peet's Place. Right on the beach for morning and evening strolls. Beautiful ocean views from the lounge/dining area, balcony and upper deck. The communal space is big enough to accommodate all guests comfortably, with the bedrooms and en-suites giving you privacy when required . The accommodation had everything we needed and more. We loved our stay and hope to be back soon.

We loved our holiday in this stunning home. It is beautifully decorated and felt like home. The location is amazing! Walking distance to the harbour, lagoon, beach and wonderful restaurants. Colleen was an amazing host. We would love to come back one day.

We had a lovely time at Stonehaven River Lodge. It was a very spacious property inside and even more fabulous outside. The view out from the bedroom is gorgeous and although quite open plan, the sitting area feels cozy. Sven, the onsite manager was friendly and pleasant to speak with. He gave good tips on getting back up the steep driveway, which we managed fine. I would definitely recommend this place to others looking for more of a one of a kind place. It would be a great place for a family/friends group, as there are other properties on the estate also.

Beautifully decorated house with gorgeous views up and down the river, this is very special place to stay in a very beautiful location. We had a wonderful time here with friends and small children, the walk down to the river is a perfect activity for little ones and a great place to sit and watch for birds and wildlife. We felt very at home here from the second we walked in and can’t wait to return to explore more. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly - definitely a place to keep going back to!

We had a wonderful stay at The Beach House in Groot Brakrivier! The home had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. Marya was an excellent host—friendly, responsive, and made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. The location was perfect, just a short stroll from the beach, and we were spoiled with stunning views from every room. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind by the sea in a beautiful setting.

Lovely holiday stay! The location is superb, house is well equipped and you will be sipping your morning coffee, staring at the waves crashing against the rocks. About 50m, on the oppsite side of road is the Tidal pool - the best cooloff after a run, amazing!

Our stay at Shades of Serenity, graciously hosted by the Janet, was nothing short of a delightful escape! Nestled in an idyllic location, this gem offered breathtaking views with just a leisurely stroll away from the pristine beach. We had a lovely stay at Oupa Gallie's, perfect for our family of four. The space was neat and clean, with most of the amenities we needed for our week-long stay. The view was also beautiful. The location is very convenient, right next to the entrance and security gate. The only minor downside was a bit of noise in the mornings due to its proximity to the gate, but it didn't affect our overall experience. Highly recommend for a family getaway.

Our stay at Wayne’s home was wonderful! The breathtaking views of the bay were the highlight of our trip—perfect for enjoying sundowners around the large table. The house is spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, easily accommodating our group of 7 adults. The location is fantastic—set in a peaceful Eco Estate, it’s private, serene, and surrounded by wildlife. The short, scenic walk to the beach was a treat. The large indoor braai room with its cozy couches and massive fireplace made for some memorable evenings. Wayne is an exceptional host who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. He provided clear check-in instructions, responded promptly to any questions, and his warmth is evident throughout the house. The off-grid setup worked seamlessly, with reliable wifi as a bonus. We had a great time in Springerbaai, the house was well equipped and the location spot-on. Also want to mention Emma-Jane as she was very proactive with hosting us, her communication and responsiveness is excellent. We can definitely recommend Emma’s place if you’re looking for a quiet escape from the city, lots of bush and nothing but great views!
