Cabin vacation rentals in Gotham

Really great stat at Windmill Farm. Our two boys (5 and 3) loved seeing the chickens each morning and having the farm park so close by was great. They could have spent hours in the excellent soft play barn - and we didn't even get round to all the activities available on the farm. Cabin was lovely, and Stacey and Stephen were really helpful. A great place to stay with two young kids!

We have used a lot of Air BNB properties and would rate James' property as the best. It was beautiful, spotless, amenities were of an exceptionally high standard and James himself was a wonderfully warm and engaged host. We will definitely be back.

The best few days, the views are breathtaking and the cabin is super clean and provides everything you need. The hosts were so helpful and responsive. Could not recommend this place more!

An absolute gem of a place! Exquisitely decorated with the best fixtures and fittings, luxury bedding and towels in an idyllic setting. Perfect for my girls weekend away, the hot tub was the icing on the cake. We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable holiday. The location was perfect—close to local attractions but still peaceful and relaxing. Our host was very responsive and made sure we felt welcome. Absolutely amazing, hot tub was an added bonus. Sarah was really helpful gave us a good few places to visit for our stay. The cozy cabin we had was on the end and waking up to the cows on the field was a new experience which was a fun one. Loved the idea of the fire pit. After a long soak in the tub coming out to dry by the fire pit while watching the stars was amazing. Will definitely be back

We had a lovely two night stay at Rebecca’s cabin. It was suitably equipped for a short stay and was warm and cosy. It is very well located for Matlock Bath, Crich tramway museum and the East Midlands Designer Outlet. Good recommendations were provided. It was safe and quiet for small children and they enjoyed their stay too. Thank you very much for an enjoyable mini-break!

I really enjoyed my stay at Jenny and Tom's cabin. They are the loveliest family, super friendly and welcoming. Happy to help and chat. The doggo is also a delight. The cabin is perfect, and suited me well. Very kindly Anna looked after my little dog while I attended at wedding function near by. Parking was easy. The absolute best thing about the cabin is the matress on the bed, it was so comfortable!! I now think I need one exactly the same :)) I thoroughly recommend the cabin, and the local area is gorgeous, but sadly I didn't have time to investigate it....another trip maybe.....

we had a lovely break with our puppy cockapoo who also loved the freedom, opening your pod and looking out on the horses and goats was amazing, did not miss TV one bit, would recommend for an escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Booked for a 2 night stay and was perfect for a very relaxing time. Very easy to find in a beautiful little village. The instructions for getting in was perfect and great parking close to the lodge. The lodge was very clean and simple inside perfect for what we wanted. lots of room inside for the two of us and a Newfoundland dog and must say he really enjoyed his stay here also. The lodge is in the grounds of the Greenman pub this is a real bonus as the pub is a beautiful English pub with fantastic food and staff who made us feel really welcome it really is worth eating here and having a chat with the locals just how a pub should be good beer great food and lovely people thank you. 1 great thing about staying here is you step out straight into the countryside with gorgeous walks which me and the dog enjoyed. I visited for one night with family and absolutely loved the surrounding area. The owners dogs are so lovely. We had a bbq and then went for a long walk. Perfect relaxed weekend. I would recommend the place.

The host was very welcoming on arrival. The property was very clean. The newer mattress in 1 twin room and the double was very comfortable. The hot tub is a great size and is very warm. We would definitely book again..

Emyr is fantastic host, very friendly and helpful. The whole area is so beautiful with lovely walks around the corner of Emyr's guesthouse. the caravan was spotless clean and equipped in everything u need and even more e.g. toiletries, towels and basic food basket on arrival. Beds were comfortable and the electric radiators helped to keep warm as the British weather can surprise. we feel very safe and our dog love the fields. the caravans are set up in good distance to each other so privacy is guaranteed. TV and WiFi was very useful when relaxing after miles long walk in the forests.

Lovely property, immaculately clean and well equipped with everything you need, especially in the kitchen. High chair was available on request too! We had a lovely family swim in indoor pool. And playground was sufficient enough for the kids. Caravans are not to close and hardly heard any noise at night. The main thing for us was the location. Great access to the Peak District where my husband and I reminisce our hiking days pre covid lockdown and kids. Went to Carsington Water and Dovedale and it was literally just a few minutes drive away. Towns like Bakewell, Buxton, Matlock, even Chatsworth House and Alton Towers are all around half an hour drive. All in all we had a great stay. Thanks Ruthie.

We had an amazing couple of nights staying at Loki's Lodge. Sarah was a great host and good communication, she let me know they day before that we could check in early if we wanted to. The Lodge was beautiful, really cosy and had everything you could possibly need for your stay. 2 nights was not enough so we will definitely be booking to come back again soon.
