We had a great time being hosted by Erwin, he is a super friendly guy and made us feel right at home! The house is big with lots of space to relax and chat to other guests, and everyone was very quiet and respectful. Very comfy beds also. Mi casa is in a peaceful residential area but easy to reach central Aomori by train. Would recommend :)

We loved Yuka's beautiful home! It was a highlight of our trip. And Yuka bent over backwards for us to use her kotatsu even though it was put away for the summer and we are all so grateful for that!! It was the perfect way to end our day and start our morning when it was still a little cold out. Her home is the perfect blend of a traditional Japanese home with a mixture of modern features for our comfort. None of us had any complaints! We walked from the shin-Aomori station and it was a peaceful, 15-20 minute walk alongside the pond and quiet neighborhood. And the shin-Aomori station is a convenient station - we even decided to do an afternoon trip up to Hokkaido and it was dreamy. We would highly recommend this place!

Koji was an amazing host! I wasn’t able to make my original check in time and he was very accommodating and left the lights on for us! The apartment had everything we needed for the stay, and koji was very quick to answer our questions! Would 10/10 recommend staying with him if you are ever in the area!
