You will be staying in a comfortable, fully furnished holiday home, the "Dashuis". The house is next to our own house and has its own entrance. You have your own, enclosed terrace with plenty of privacy. In the immediate vicinity, chances are you will encounter deer or a kingfisher. The location is in a natural environment with ample hiking and biking possibilities. Cities are easily accessible, Leeuwarden 30 min., Groningen 40 min. A direct bus to Heerenveen with, among other things, the Thialf ice stadium.

Relax and unwind in this peaceful, stylish space. Enjoy this cozy cottage and relax by or in the -slightly heated- pool, in the lounge area, or spot birds from the roof terrace. This cottage is located in the middle of the woods and offers a lot of privacy. Southeast Friesland is known for its beautiful rolling landscape, forest and heathlands. The cottage itself is tastefully decorated and equipped with every comfort and luxury. You can choose between a double bed or two single beds in the bedroom.

If you are looking for a larger shopping center, Gorredijk (known for Rinsma modeplein) Sportstad/Thialf Heerenveen, Drachten, Leeuwarden, and Sneek are also easy to drive to.

The Landscape

In this luxurious spacious home, you will experience rural life at its best! With a magnificent view over the countryside in the characteristic landscape of the Frisian Forests, it is wonderful to relax. Even from your bed, you can enjoy the great views and a beautiful sunrise. Who knows, you might spot deer, cows, birds and hares in the meadow. Enjoy the alpacas in the yard. The Landzicht is a great starting point to explore the area. Located near nature reserves, Drachten and the A7.

Log cabin in the middle of the forest

Hidden in the greenery is the log cabin. A place with lots of privacy on the edge of the forest and with a beautiful view. In the log cabin, you will find a double bed, a kitchen with fridge and stove, a sitting area, a dining area and a wardrobe. In good weather, you can sit on the terrace of the log cabin. The shower, toilet and a sink are located in a separate sanitary unit about 25 meters from the log cabin and are only used by the guests of the log cabin.
