Upper Stables is a romantic hideaway nestled in the private countryside of Carclew on the outskirts of Mylor, in easy reach of creeks, beaches and Falmouth. The stables have been lovingly refurbished and boast wood fired hot tub, beams, woodburner, luxurious bathroom - roll top bath and rain shower and a large well equipped kitchen. Unwind and relax in this historic gem of a home. There has been a mill on this site since 1298 and in 2019 we completely refurbished the current 18th century milll to a very high standard to ensure a truly comfortable and magical getaway. You'll be surrounded by trees, bird song and the constant sound of running water and the sight of our resident heron by the waterfall. The mill lies in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Daphne du Maurier country, on the Fowey estuary.

Close to the heritage harbour of Charlestown and South Coast with its beautiful scenery, walks, fantastic beaches and cycle trails. Coastal resorts of Carlyon Bay, Pentewan Sands, are all easily accessible.

The Hayloft is a cosy converted stone barn, ideally suitable for 2-4 guests. The property is centrally heated and fully equipped for use all year round. Its ideally placed for visiting Eden, the Lost Gardens of Helligan and the picturesque harbours of Charlestown and Mevagissey. Sticker village is on the edge of the beautiful Roseland Peninsula, with a pub and shop within easy walking distance. The South West coastal path is also nearby. We welcome well behaved dogs.
