Vacation rentals in Gondarém

Rui, your host, was brilliant and as effervescent as a freshly poured flute of fine French champagne - so much so that one almost needs to lie down and rest after having a chat. He loves his tree house and is extremely proud of his construction. One of the nights of our stay they had the fiercest storm in nearly 20 years - 100 kph winds, slashing rain and intense lighting and thunder yet in the morning both we and the tree house was still in the tree - can't say much about sleep but what an experience. It is, indeed, a magical experience. If you are coming by rental car, and a stickler for detail, be aware that you must drive over gravel roads for a few kms, which for most rental cars is not covered in the contract but if you drive in a mature and rationale matter who will ever know. Like how many people can say that they actually resided in a tree house. Just do it.

The apartment is very comfortable, clean, with everything you need and very practical. The place is very quiet, easy to get out walking in the center of Goian and on the shore of the Miño. The outdoor table in the garden to dine or eat in the sun. Julia's kindness and quick response.

Wonderful stay. The house is beautiful, even better than in the photos. The house was waiting for us with the fireplace lit and a beautiful Christmas tree. Super attentive and kind host. We'll be back.

Gorgeous and calm place, perfect apartment with new furniture very clean and safe. We were so excited to stay there. Regardless of "shared" swimming pools and saunas we have never felt ourselves non comfortable. Everything was easy accessible and clean. We been renting an apartment downhill and it might be not convenient for pairs with toddlers since hill is very steep. Definitely recommend if you are looking for calm place to chill. :) It was one of our best vacation!

There is nothing wrong with this place. Very clean. The reception was very very friendly everything was shown. A very nice and quiet location.

Me and my partner loved being received at Quinta das Águias! Ivone and Joepp are wonderful people and their animal sanctuary is so admirable, beautiful and inspiring to us :) Joepp's food was delicious and Ivone was kind enough to make us the best tea we ever tasted. I would love to come back in the future!

My family and I have had a dream stay at Xanela Indiscreta. A magical place, with stunning views, designed and decorated with exquisite taste. Everything is extremely clean, tidy and where everything is thought out to the last detail so that you don't miss anything at all. We travel a lot and we've never been to a house like this. As for the location, we found it ideal for visiting the entire area of the Rías Baixas, with convenient access and parking. Congratulations to Miguel for all this, you can see the passion and dedication behind this project. I recommend it 1000%.
