Vacation rentals with breakfast in Golden Plains Shire

The house was very nicely furnished and Trevor provided very thoughtful welcome amenities, bread, cookies and such. There was not a lot of hanging space but for our short visit it was good , the outdoor space was very pleasant and comfortable. If staying, be good to have a car. Trevor was a great communicator and everything was easy and comfortable.

Eureka Rose was in a great location and was the perfect spot for us to stay overnight while exploring Ballarat. Even though we checked in at 1:30 am (yes, you read that right), Dean stayed awake to welcome us and gave us a complete walk-through of the house. The house is a vintage storybook place, and there’s so much to explore inside. Dean is a vibrant soul, radiating love, warmth, and humour. Despite facing two major setbacks in life, he has grown through the experience and now shares with others the gifts of kindness, empathy, resilience, care, and laughter. If you're facing any challenges or setbacks in life, a one-night stay at Eureka Rose and a chat with Dean might be just what you need to feel uplifted. Doreen’s place is absolutely gorgeous! If you are heading to Ballarat, look no further. Great location - walking distance to Sovereign Hill, 5 min drive from central shops and restaurants. Massive space, especially great if you have kids. Our 4 year old loved the kids area with books, toys. Our family was very comfortable and we had a very comfortable stay.

We had a lovely stay at peel cottage. Lots of charming character and our kids had a ball exploring the house and garden area. Convenient location with the drive cafe just up the road and local supermarkets and playgrounds a 10-15min walk. Also so close to sovereign hill!

It was a pleasure getting to know Michelle and her son George while staying in their very comfortable and spacious Ballarat home. Thanks to their kindness, openess and friendly communicatilon, along with their adorable toy poodle and cat I felt very welcome and enjoyed living there across the 9 days. The guest room and home was all clean, peaceful and lovely and Michelle is an excellent host. Thanks again for everything.. Much appreciated. Nathan

Cheryl’s home was absolutely beautiful. Relaxing atmosphere, loved the beautiful decor & furnishings. Bed was so comfy and loved the bath. The breakfast basket and cheese board were delicious. We enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying your beautiful garden. A very relaxing few nights away with my beautiful Mum & Sister. 🌸🍁🌺

We had the most peaceful stay at Blame Mabel’s Farmhouse. I love an aesthetically pleasing space and the attention to detail in the decor is so beautiful. Lighting is lovely and moody, linen is cosy, the bath and shower were such a luxury. The bed was comfy, the day bed in the window was heaven. We loved building our muesli for breakfast, what a great idea! It’s right next to Fairy Park and we plan to come back as a family and do some more exploring. Thanks for having us!

Outstanding home in a perfect location for Ballarat, being close enough to the central district, but far enough away for peace and quiet. The house itself had excellent tv for watching streaming services, and the kitchen is very well equipped. A great breakfast spread. Too many places give you just enough coffee for 1 morning before you then you have to go and find a shop with the right coffee pods etc. But Christine and Mark have provided an ample amount. Plus many places provide 1 dishwasher tablet or 1 sachet for cleaning, or no garbage bags. This place provides all the extra things you need to help keep the place tidy. Kitchen appliances and little things like condiments all available. Very well thought out to cater for guests who are paying for a home away from home. Mission accomplished. We have stayed in many air bnb, and this would be arguably the best for providing the essentials for a trip away. Thank you also for the easter eggs - a nice personal touch.

We stayed 3 nights at Batesford Lodge and were immediately taken aback by the peaceful surroundings. The host Michael is very friendly and welcoming. Our room and ensuite were large and comfortable. We experienced a great sunset at Dog Rocks and wandered through Michael's established garden. Nothing was too much trouble and he gave us some foldaway chairs for the airshow to borrow. Continental breakfast was supplied which was an added touch. Jedi and Trixie are gorgeous dogs who love people. We loved our stay there thanks Michael.

I really enjoyed my stay at Leon's Homestead, The places are clean and tidy.

Lovely quaint cottage for a restful getaway. We particularly enjoyed a soak in the spa with some wine after a long walk. Very comfy bed and thoughtful touches.

Super nice and kind host. Such a tranquil place with delicious breakfast, had a great time playing tennis with host!
