Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Golden Plains Shire

Karen’s place provided a wonderful retreat whilst we were at Golden Plains festival with our children (3&5yo). The children loved the garden Karen provided thoughtful bubble bath, the kitchen was very well equipped (we even baked muffins) and the BBQ was spotless! Buninyong is a lovely town close by and it’s so close to Ballarat if you want to explore those sights and delights. Thanks again for a lovely stay!

We had a fantastic stay in Bella's gorgeous cottage. The house had everything we needed, was very comfortable and close to everything. We would definitely recommend and will return if we're ever in Ballarat again. Bella was a very friendly host and was super obliging with check-in and check-out times.

We had a fantastic stay in this cottage which was cozy and exactly as described in the listing. While the driveway is narrow, it’s fine to park in and is the better option than having your car out the front on a busy road. On this, there is quite a lot of traffic that goes past so if you are a light sleeper, I suggest white noise or ear plugs - was fine by us who live in a busy area! Overall it was a great weekend accommodation option.

Perfect place for us to stay while visiting relatives. Very clean and tidy. Great location and very close to local shops and the lake. Will stay again!

Excellent choice for a family planning to visit Sovereign Hill. House was fully equipped, had a lovely feel and high quality amenities. Lots of space in the backyard for kids and the supplied outdoor games and fire pit was a great feature. This place was perfect for a first time stay in Ballarat. Keep it up Luke and thanks!

Place was nice and clean and very homey. Narelle was excellent with communication and even left some Easter treats for my kids. Definitely recommend.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Helen’s place. We were catching up with elderly grandparents and extended family during our 5 night stay. We loved the multiple living spaces & the 10 seater dining table which hosted many a family meal. Helens place was perfect for our circumstances, certainly rustic but very comfortable. Accessible to Ballarat central, about 15 minute drive & a 5 minute drive to the local supermarket (and excellent take away pizza at Town & Country). The fire pit is a great addition and was a family favourite.

Really enjoyed staying ayour t the house, and it was very relaxing, especially lying in the hammock. Thank you, Yoram, for sharing with us your home.

Lovely original cottage, tastefully renovated. Everything you could want and more. Lovely secure back for the fur child to stretch her legs. Jake a fantastic host, responsive and friendly.

My family stayed for 3 nights in January. The location is perfect for exploring Ballarat & the home has everything you need. A beautiful view from the balcony so you can enjoy the outdoor space. We would certainly stay again.

We had a great weekend. The apartment was clean, modern and had great decor!The location was perfect for us, a couple of minutes drive to supermarkets and town centre not to mention Sovereign Hill bakery! My daughter and son in law attended a wedding at a few locations across the day, again easy access for them to pop back to base to relax in between events. I was able to enjoy my stay with my grandson and his fur sister. Tania has truely accommodated and welcomes pets. Bowls, beds and leads and hints where to go for walks. Tania thoughtfully turned lights and heater on for our arrival on the Friday night. Thank you Tania for a great stay. We all enjoyed it.

Accomodations were as described and access was simple and allowed flexibility to arrive late as we did. The space was open and the front fenced off yard and back yard was great for our dog, and the nearby fenced dog park was a fantastic stop. The open plan layout was cosy and had all the ammenities we needed for our stay. We had the cold snap come through during our stay so the electric blankets were very appreciated. The aircon units gave it their best but couldn’t output enough but used blankets. Would stay again next time travelling that way.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely home in Ballarat! The quietness to get away from the city was bliss. The place was clean, plenty of clean towels, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. We didn’t really do much cooking, so can’t really comment on the pantry amenities, but had what we needed. The pool and spa were great to keep kids entertained, but given it was Autumn, there were a few leaves in the pool to deal with. The host was friendly and responsive, and the location was great, as it was close to shops, cafes, and local attractions. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

Jen’s house was a perfect stay for myself and the family whom were participating in a marathon close by in Ballarat. It was extremely appreciative to have a lovely fire and spa all ready for use on arrival making us feel very welcome!! The house is beautifully clean and well equipped with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing break away. I cannot recommend this home enough !! Thank you again Jen and Andrew

House was so cute, and had everything we needed. Safe and secure backyard aswell for the dogs to play. Having fresh eggs from the chickens was so cool also. Loved that.
