Patio furniture provided outside, porch overlooking the river, fire pit, picnic table, propane BBQ. 150 acres, forest & trails.

The Escape Pod|No Neighbours|Pet Friendly|Drive to

This cabin site is tucked into the forest at the base of the Deacon Escarpment with a view of the Bonnechere Valley Hills. It is a 10 min hike to the Escarpment Lookout, and roughly a 25 min hike to your canoe on a small lake. There is a picnic table, firepit, outdoor gazebo bar, seasonal outdoor shower and private outhouse. The cabin comes with a map of 30km of trails for you to hike or snowshoe. No neighbours within 500m in any direction. Possibility of occasional guest cars going past.

Sköv Cabin is a luxury, spa-inspired retreat nestled in the majestic woods of Calabogie Peaks Village. Sköv is the Danish word for forest which is what you’ll be immersed in when visiting this private escape, featuring a cedar barrel sauna, hot tub and Level 2 electric vehicle charger. It’s the perfect destination for couples or groups looking to get away from the city and into the tranquility of nature. Walking distance to Calabogie Beach and the Peaks Ski Hill.

Historic and comfy 1870 Chalet at Gerber's

The chalet is located at Gerber's Nursery outside the village of Golden Lake, and provides a cozy get away for a couple, small family or four friends travelling together. One bedroom has a Queen bed and the loft has a double, with a small sofa bed downstairs which sleeps one. We are 30 minutes from Renfrew, Pembroke and Barry's Bay. 1.5 hours west of Ottawa. In the other direction 1.5 hours to Algonquin Park. A great base to explore the Ottawa Valley.

The Guest House

Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.
