Awesome 2 room apartment, lovely views, you can hear the waves crashing at night on the beach. Easy walks to beach and around the hills. Great shower & adequate kitchen altho no oven. Decor abit dated, but very clean & cosy.

Joanne and David were very generous and kind hosts. We enjoyed their company very much - it was as if they were long lost friends. The apartment was high quality with luxurious touches. A fully functional kitchen was supported by a large range of pantry items and treats. Probably the best Airbnb bed we have ever slept in. Great wifi and television with a range of program options. We were permitted to garden forage which supplied us with a huge amount of fruit and herbs. Private parking for our car, washing machine and deck with BBQ made for a very enjoyable and memorable stay.

Neville and Debbie are exceptional. They are kind, generous, welcoming and understanding. The location is a 2-minute walk from the beach, and the house was clean, easily accessible and had all we needed for our 3-night stay. We would easily stay there again!

Huge, spotless flat that had every amenity you could possibly need! Check in has to be arranged but it was a smooth process and Amanda is lovely. We wished we could have stayed longer!!

We have had the most amazing stay! The apartment is even better than it looks in the photos! View to die for from the enormous balcony, super comfortable beds, high end appliances & friendly accommodating hosts… we don’t want to leave!

Lovely, spacious designer home right by the sea. Someone has invested significant coin into this house at some point - you can almost control each light fitting independently if you have the patience!! Great new kayaks to use (with life jackets) and a well equipped kitchen, with two (or even three) fridges available!

Ligar Bay is a fantastic spot, the changing tides provide so much diversity and interest - we kayaked, paddle boarded, walked and swam in the bay and at surrounding beaches and tracks. The house itself is very clean, with beautiful outlook and the garden is lovely. Furnishings and linen are very stylish and beds were comfortable. We found the lack of curtains/blinds a little challenging - there’s a skylight without a blind directly above master bed, one bedroom has no blind and the other had sheers, which provide privacy but no light. We love our sleep in holiday! We also missed having a dishwasher - some wouldn’t care. We appreciated all the pantry staples, great indoor and outdoor showers and water toys available for guests to use. A stunning place!

Very clean, welcoming and comfortable home ideally sized for a family stay. Erin had provided lots of local information including a great shortcut to get to the fabulous Java coffee hut. Lovely deck area complete with very clean bbq and umbrella. Plenty of fresh towels and a super equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need. Great location being just a 10 minute walk to wharf for restaurants and shops and also close to a very well stocked and modern 4 Square. Would highly recommend.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Bob & Kanako’s place! In a great location, the home was easy to access and had an awesome view over Pohara. Bob could not have been more accommodating - being super responsive throughout our stay and even helping with our luggage. The space itself was pristine, well equipped for a family stay, and a cosy place to settle into for the week! Thank you for a great stay, we will be back again!!

We had a great long weekend at the house catching up with long time friends. The house privided ample room for us all to have our own space, and was very comfortable for lazy afternoons in the sun. The house is well equipped with all neceasities and is in a great location for local amenities and ofcourse the beach!

The house is older with the bathroom needing some attention. But it was very comfortable, in a great location; quiet and just across the road from the beach with an elevated outlook.

A wonderful home in a beautiful location with stunning views. We particularly enjoyed the pool, spa and being able to walk to amazing restaurants and wine bar. Sally and Wayne were friendly helpful hosts. Highly recommend staying
