In summer there are nice walks in the terrain towards the plains. Hemsedal, Ål, Golsfjellet, Bjørneparken and Langedrag nature park are a short drive away.

Distance to Solseter with marked trails is 1 km. Golsfjellet is 10 km away. The cabin consists of a kitchen with wood stove +2 hobs, bathroom with shower and toilet, loft and living room with double sofa bed. Heated with wood and electricity. It is possible to rent bed linen set for NOK 75 per set. Private parking outside the cabin.

The area is a unique starting point for both summer and winter activities. Hiking trail and access to ski slopes right behind the cabin! Nystølvarden is the area's most popular hike, and can be reached in summer and winter. There is a year-round road, electricity, water and drainage.

The cabin is a nice starting point for hiking, biking, mountain trips and fishing in both Hemsedal and Gol. It is about 15 min to Hemsedal Ski Center by car, and right outside the door you will find groomed cross-country trails, gapahuk, toboggan run and many hiking trails.
